This is the lovely resident parrot at Fred Douglas Lodge. Interestingly, his name is “Fred”.
Raina and I have gotten to know this feathery little guy and we have gained his trust.
He bent forward last weekend and let us give his neck a scratch.
We were honoured because there are signs everywhere warning that Fred bites.
Thanks Fred! We enjoyed our visit.

There is a simple, yet cost effective solution to this infection control nightmare….a vinyl pillow cover.

For a few dollars, you can take your pillows to the next level and turn them into pristine, fresh and wipeable pillows. Please continue to use your pillow covers, but when you replace them, simply wipe your vinyl pillow with disinfectant and you’re good to go.
