Where: Victoria Inn Hotel & Banquet Centre, Winnipeg.

We are honoured to welcome you to the 3rd Annual AMC Women's Gathering, a sacred space for women and Two-Spirit individuals to come together in strength, healing, and community.

This gathering is rooted in ceremony, cultural teachings, and the collective wisdom of our matriarchs. Whether you are returning or attending for the first time, this is a space to reflect, restore, and support each other.

Registration will open later this spring - stay tuned!

VENDOR/FACILITATOR FORMS: We are currently accepting applications for facilitators and vendors who wish to be part of this year’s gathering. Share your gifts, teachings, or handmade items with our community.

This group meets to discuss topics including life changes, strategies for comfort, wellness and managing stress, and finding resources for pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum care.

They are the conduit to our past and hold the key to our future. They work to ensure the next generation of young people are equipped with the knowledge of their ancestors.

Red River Co-op presents the Manito Ahbee Tipi Raising Contest!

This special 20 Year Celebration edition of the Manito Ahbee Tipi Raising Contest will again be hosted at the Red River Exhibition Park, Winnipeg, MB Canada Friday, May 16, 2024 starting at 3:00PM.

Rules:
- Fastest time complete set UP ONLY takes home the top prize
- 4 persons per team (must be 18 years and older)
- Teams are responsible to take down tipis once completed

Good to know:
- Tickets will need to be purchased to participate - free parking on the East Side entrance
- Bring gloves (if needed) water bottles (water tanks will be on site if you need to refill)
- Dress for the weather
- There are bleachers for spectators
- This contest has the right to cancel due to weather
