“All of our children must feel safe in our classrooms and schools. I am committed to promoting inclusive education for Aboriginal peoples, newcomers, special needs students, and gifted and talented students, by advocating for programs and resources to address the learning needs of these students. Many students are flourishing in our school division, others are struggling to complete their high school education. I will promote the further development of in-school and after school programs including transitional classrooms, off-campus programs, and tutoring and mentoring initiatives to support more young people to graduate from high school in our community." -Kevin Settee
