The Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Manitoba is a registered charitable organization which strives to improve the quality of life for people affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus through support, education, advocacy and research. We provide services and support to persons with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, their families, and caregivers. Our objective as a volunteer association is to act as a resource to individuals and families by determining needs for and providing physical and emotional support, educational, financial support.

It was so great to see some new and familiar faces at our fundraiser in Winkler this past weekend! A great time was had by all. Three year old Joslynne Giesbrecht dropped the puck for the game between the Pembina Valley Blades and the Morden U15A Hawks.

Beyond Limits: Canada’s Conference for Diversity and Accessibility is excited to share a unique opportunity with you!

Join us on April 10, 2024 from 12:30-3:00 for an screening of These Four Walls, a People First of Canada Production. This documentary explores institutionalization in Manitoba as the Manitoba Developmental Centre (MDC) closes. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with film makers and survivors. I’ll attach a poster, please print and post in your area and feel free to share broadly. All are welcome!
