Vidir manufactures dynamic storage & display systems. We have been selected as the equipment supplier for major retailers throughout the world.

We are known for our highly skilled team that provide the quality, custom design and engineering solutions for vertical space challenges. Located 100 kilometers north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Vidir Machine has grown to become a leading supplier of both motorized and non-motorized storage and display systems. Vidir Machine Inc. has grown from the small manufacturer we started out as and now have a plant in Teulon, Manitoba and a sales office in Clermont, Florida. Between these locations we are over 130 employees.

We finished off the first week of December celebrating the holidays with our tradition of Ugly Sweater Day, donating to the Christmas Cheer Boards, and a competitive Gingerbread House Contest with lots of eggnog, milk, and cookies! From most colourful to best snowmen, we were impressed by the talents expressed in limited time. Community Creates Meaning at Vidir, and we are elated in taking the opportunity to spend time as a team and giving back to the community during the holiday season.

This year, Vidir teams and loved ones savoured so much sweetness by celebrating community and diversity at the annual Vidir Christmas Party at the Fort Garry Hotel ⋆🍭🫧🌈₊˚ෆ

Vidir employees and their companions celebrated with dinner, dance, and capturing sweet moments to receive tokens to crack the code on the vault cube and win a prize package. Teens enjoyed a jewelry station, a games station, mocktails, and a dance, and the children delighted in a bouncy castle and a ball pit while Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus sleighed in to bring presents and join in on the party!

Vidir is especially grateful to everyone that has been featured for their service award for their years of service. It was an unforgettable enchanting night of Raising Others Up that was relished by all.

Today on International Men's Day, we are putting a focus on men's education in alignment with our value, Education Elevates Excellence. Statistically, men are now less likely to enroll in post-secondary education as their enrollment rates have stagnated or declined in recent years. Men also now have significantly higher rates of non-completion of post-secondary programs, regardless of the credential type. In alignment with our value of Education Elevates Excellence, Vidir supports several charities that support education and we also offer scholarships for post-secondary education.

Education Elevates Excellence is a core value here at Vidir and one way we love to promote this is by hosting our employees’ teens on Take Your Kid To Work Day. Take your kid to work day allows Grade 9 students the opportunity to experience all aspects of a manufacturing facility and explore a variety of careers here at Vidir while also getting an opportunity for hands-on learning.

Innovation Brings Opportunity is a core value at Vidir Solutions and our Engineering team was recently recognized for their commitment to this value. Congratulations to the Vidir Engineering department who recently won the 2025 Innovation Award at the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Awards Ceremony!

The Innovation Award was awarded for their groundbreaking work on the Powered Pan Carousel a revolutionary advancement in vertical storage technology. The Powered Pan Carousel represents a bold leap forward in engineering innovation, combining mechanical, electrical, structural, HVAC, and automation disciplines into a single, integrated solution. Designed to meet the growing demands of online grocery shopping and the Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) model, the Powered Pan Carousel enables efficient, climate-controlled storage of dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods—all within a compact footprint. What sets the Powered Pan Carousel apart is its world-first rotating powered shelving system, which delivers electricity to each shelf without cable entanglement. This allows for the use of powered totes that maintain precise temperatures—ensuring food safety and quality. The system uses a unique magnetic switch to safely activate power only when a tote is correctly placed, enhancing user safety. This highlights another one of Vidir’s core values, Safety Produces Security.
