Is there a business that will transplant your plants & separate plant babies for you? Asking for a friend...

Binge watching Netflix isn’t always the cure. You know what is though? Vodka sodas, dark chocolate, and a good book in the tub. Ft kitty company of course.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas this year! I hope everyone can take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful white Christmas🤗

I have been dreading making this post since the announcement was made on Monday that all non essential businesses will be closed for 28 days. Unfortunately, Holistic healing has been deemed non essential so I’m sad to say yesterday was my last day of work until the end of January (hopefully)

I’m trying to remain positive knowing I’ll be able to enjoy some much needed time recharging after a very hectic last few months, but I will definitely be missing my clients and I’m already counting down until I can be back at the clinic doing what I love.

I do have all appointments blocked off following the lockdown so I can reschedule canceled appointments in order once I’m permitted to practice again.

I wish all my clients a very safe and happy holidays. Here’s hoping 2021 brings better vibes for everyone 🤗💕

Christmas is coming in HOT. I can’t even believe that today marks exactly a week from Christmas Eve! ...And I haven’t wrapped a single present yet😬

If you still haven’t crossed that hard to buy for/has absolutely everything person off your gift list then stop in at Barnes Chiropractic and grab a gift certificate for a hot stone massage! It’s the perfect gift that is sure to please anyone! (Unless of course the recipient hates ultimate relaxation) AND it doesn’t require wrapping 🙃 ...on that note, if I don’t get to wrapping soon everyone I know is getting a hot stone massage for Christmas 😅

Leaving your warm & cozy bed on a chilly morning isn’t so bad when you get to warm up with a toasty hot stone massage after 😉

Not to toot my own horn but toot toot🤪 These infographics turned out amazing! Reflexology has countless benefits but these are some of the main benefits people seek out treatments for and/or experience during and after their treatment:
•Enhanced Circulation
•Normalized Metabolism
•Stress Relief
•Relaxation
•Pain Management
•BONUS* It is safe to combine with other treatments & medications

Good morning and happy Hump day🐪
Here’s Pt 2 about me for your morning scroll!

Although holistic work is my passion, I also have a second career as a Store Manager of a Wine Rack in Brantford! (Wine is also a passion of mine 😜🍷)

I definitely keep quite busy between my two careers so when I get some down time I take full advantage of relaxing or catching up with friends and family. I have an amazing fiancé that I’ve been with for almost 9 years now and we have two adorable fur children, Oliver and Peenie!🐱🐱

Some of my hobbies include being in nature, visiting every donut shop I can possibly find (donuts are the key to my heart), puzzling, attending concerts (pre-Covid of course) and cooking/baking. I’m a total foodie all around, love making food and eating it 🤤

I think I’ve covered most of the basics but feel free to ask away if you have anything else you’re dying to find out about 🤗

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a post about myself so I figured I should introduce myself to the many new faces following!

My name is Kristina Kearby, I’m 25 years old living in the friendly city of Woodstock!

I’m a Holistic Practitioner at Barnes Chiropractic in Woodstock and have been since the start of March... yes, right when Covid began so did my career at Barnes! I had been practicing Reflexology for a year prior out of my home and I began practicing Aromatherapy Massage in August of 2019! I received my Hot Stone Massage Certification in February of 2020 luckily just before the Covid Chaos began!

It’s been an interesting start to my career at Barnes with Covid having closed up shop for 3 months, but all things considered it’s been a great journey so far! I continue to meet some amazing people, have developed some wonderful relationships, and have had the pleasure of helping alleviate an assortment of different ailments! I’m so excited to develop new relationships, help more people in the community, and meet many more friendly faces as my career continues to grow🤗

This is what your feet look like from the perspective of a Reflexologist 👣
As you can see there’s quite a lot happening in those feet of yours. That’s because your feet contain reflex points for all organs, glands and body parts!

During each Reflexology session I use this sheet to keep track of any tender areas or grittiness I find, so over time I can look back and reflect on progress made or any areas of concern. At the end of your session I discuss my findings with you so you’re up to date on what’s happening inside your body. Curious about what your feet have to say about your body? Book a Reflexology session to find out!

It’s fall y’all🍂

Sharing some excitement on this gloomy day!🤗 I was certainly happier than ever when arriving to the office yesterday after seeing this😍

Picked up these beauties on holidays to add to my collection😍

They aren’t just any stone, these guys are the real deal volcanic stone from the river beds of the Andes Mountains in South America! Why does that matter? WELL lava rock has higher iron content and therefore retains heat far longer than your everyday stone. This guarantees the stones will remain hot for the whole duration of your massage, giving you the best results from your massage.

Hearing me nerd out about the stones doesn’t quite do them justice. You have to try a hot stone massage with these guys to find out for yourself!

Got a nice haul of pick your own fruits and veggies from @thamesrivermelons and some delicious frozen yogurt to top it off🍓

I may not be able to go on a summer vacation as planned but I’m still making the most of my time off work! I’ve been enjoying soaking up the sun, exploring nature, and eating all things delicious! 🌞🌿🍪

I will be back at the clinic Monday July 20th!There is limited spots available for the remainder of July so be sure to book in as soon as possible. 🗓

Back at it again!🎉 I’m so happy to be
practicing and seeing many familiar faces. I certainly missed seeing my clients just as much as their body’s missed me 🤪

•As I’m catching up on sessions, June availability is quickly filling up! Don’t miss your chance to get an appt for the much needed massage or reflexology session you’ve been waiting all of quarantine for!

•I will be on holidays early July so I really recommend booking now if you don’t want to wait another month from now☺️

Support local in any way you can 💜

Please support local businesses! If you have the means and they are open, offering pick ups, shipping or delivery please try to support them during this time.
A beautiful artisan store in Paris was forced to close their doors forever this week and we would hate to see it happening here ❤️
How can you support a local business without spending a penny? Comment on a post of theirs, share their page with your family & friends. Write a review on their social media accounts or website. Small businesses grow because they’re not keep secret they’re are shared. So sing their praises because you never know who’s watching you and your recommendations 🙌🏻

Happy Easter 🐰🌷

I hope everyone is enjoying time with their families today in some way, whether it be via phone call, FaceTime or a quick porch drop off visit. This year may not be full of typical Easter festivities but there’s lots to be grateful for and plenty of time to reflect on our blessings💕

‼️UPDATE‼️
With the new regulations allowing only essential services to be open for business I will no longer be returning to the office on April 2nd as previously planned. Since regulations and precautions are being updated daily I am taking things on a day to day basis and will continue to keep everyone updated on my return. Thank you all for cooperating with self isolating and social distancing, hopefully all our efforts will pay off sooner than later and we can go back to business as usual. I look forward to seeing all my wonderful clients again soon💕

As of now, I will be in self isolation until April 1st and returning to my practice on April 2nd. As guidelines and recommendations from the government are updated on a day to day basis I will keep everyone informed if my return date changes.

I know there are many businesses and self employed individuals beginning to feel the financial stress from COVID-19 but it is my hope that with everyone’s cooperation we will get through this pandemic sooner than later.

For anyone that has an appointment booked, you will be contacted to reschedule for a future date.

Stay positive and stay healthy. 💟

Did you know there are 4️⃣ reflex points in the feet that correspond with the sciatic nerve?
There is also 5️⃣ reflex points that correspond with the legs, lower back, and hip areas.

Reflexology is an excellent method of relieving sciatic pains without applying pressure directly on the nerve and further irritating the surrounding sore areas.👣

Lots of exciting things have been happening lately. In addition to beginning practicing out of Barnes Chiropractic on Monday, I am now offering Hot Stone massage!

There’s a variety of benefits hot stone massages offer, particularly relaxation and the release of tense muscles. If you haven’t tried a Hot Stone massage it’s something I highly recommend!

My career has me on my feet all day as well as constantly bending and twisting so this stretch (along with all the other stretches Carli did) provided tremendous and almost instant relief!

Stretch therapy isn’t just for those with a physically demanding career either, we could all use a little more mobility in our lives! I highly recommend anyone visit @that_stretch_girl You don’t realize how much you need a good stretch until you get it.

Thanks again Carli, can’t wait for my next one! 😍

I hope everyone feels extra loved today💕

Nothing like a peanut butter latte on a beautiful sunny Monday. Beantown Coffee Co.

Happy Friday! January is FINALLY coming to an end... is it just me or did it seem like January would never end?!

I’m happy to report many people stuck to their wellness resolutions this month by keeping up with regular massages and reflexology sessions. How many of you stuck to your resolutions this month?

Don’t beat yourself up if you fell off the wagon, it’s never too late to start again! (Although it never hurts to wait until after Super Bowl Sunday 😜)

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Support your friends. Support small businesses. Support local!

👌🏼

Reflexology can help with that!

Reflexology will stretch and massage the affected areas while enhancing blood flow and oxygen levels to remove toxins. In addition, working certain reflexes will promote the body to naturally release hydrocortisone, which has been known to help ease pain and inflammation.

Stay safe out there today folks. Winter has finally arrived ❄️
