September is FASD Awareness Month, a time to shine light on the realities of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, share lived experiences, and amplify the voices of those directly impacted. This month, we spoke with an artist who generously shared his story — a journey of struggle, resilience, and hope. Read the full interview and explore his art at

Here's a little about her and what she has to offer:

I work with individuals from all walks of life, offering a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where your story is heard and respected. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, explore options, and build the clarity and confidence needed to create a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, experiencing anxiety, depression, or navigating life transitions, I am here as a resource and ally. Drawing on psychodynamic, solution-focused, narrative, and cognitive-based approaches, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.

The foundation of my practice is based on mutual trust, respect, and developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing and growth are achievable when we are supported, understood, and empowered. Together, we can work toward meaningful change—one step at a time.

🗣️ Huge shout to everyone who made our weekend wellness event a success.

It was wonderful to see multiple generations (three pictured!) learning about local culture and the mental health benefits of engaging in land based activities 🌿.

Coloring has many positive impacts on mental health including providing stress relief, a sense of calm, and a mindful focus. It can help reduce anxiety and depression, and may even serve as a form of emotional processing🤸‍♀️

Another awesome article highlighting the recent on the land programming that Wildflower was privileged to be a part of. While we intuitively know that being in nature is beneficial to our mental health, last week's program helped people to connect with their community, culture, learn skills to sustain themselves in the future, and exercise mindfulness (it's really hard not to be in the present moment when you have a sucker fish flopping in your hands!).
