You should have seen it before 😱 !
When I’m just wanting to get some paint down and I have no agenda I can make some pretty ugly paintings. The fun starts when I’m trying to excavate some meaning. This one has gone through quite a few shifts and I’m still not convinced.
Patience is required. And letting go which is always a challenge for a control freak.
Have you got any uglies leaning against the walls?
I’ve shown you mine.

And we’re off!!!
Although I do love binge watching , eating gingerbread and standing under the mistletoe, I must admit I’m excited to get back to work. Probably because being an artist is more like play. Who doesn’t want to be messing around without any agenda except to have fun?! 😅

Introducing ‘The Questionable Conversation’

I don’t usually plan so much but I had this drawing from a life drawing class that I knew was going to find its way onto something bigger. I’m so glad I didn’t throw it out.
