Dr. Suhail Nazir Shah Receives Prestigious Best Performance Award for 2024-25

Kupwara, J&K – Dr. Suhail Nazir Shah, a dedicated medical officer, has been honored with the Best Performance Award for the year 2024-25 by the Director of AYUSH, Jammu & Kashmir. The prestigious award recognizes his exceptional contributions to the healthcare sector.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Suhail extended his heartfelt thanks to DAO Kupwara, Dr. Amjid, along with his seniors, colleagues, paramedical staff, district office staff, and well-wishers for their unwavering support and blessings.

Notably, this marks Dr. Suhail’s fourth annual award within just six years of government service, showcasing his consistent excellence and commitment to public health.

On August 8th, a Geriatric Health Camp was organized by the Ayush Health and Wellness Center (AHWC) in Batergam, Kupwara. The event was held under the directions of Dr. Mohan Singh, Director Ayush, and the guidance of Dr. Amjad Ali Khan, District Ayush Officer (DAO) Kupwara.

The camp provided vital health services to 40 elderly participants, including comprehensive health check-ups and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening. In addition, free drugs and supplements were distributed to the beneficiaries.

The event also featured awareness sessions aimed at educating the elderly about health and wellness practices, complemented by yoga sessions designed to promote physical and mental well-being.

The camp was led by Dr. Suhail Nazir Shah, Medical Officer at AHWC Batergam, supported by a dedicated team comprising paramedical staff, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Multi-Purpose Workers (MPWs), a yoga instructor, and ASHA workers, ensuring the successful ex*****on of the camp.
