The 2024 ETA guidelines on diagnosis and management of defects of thyroid hormone transport, metabolism and action are now available online in Open Access on the European Thyroid Journal website

These guidelines have been prepared by a task force of ETA experts that gave major contributions to the field and provide recommendations and opinions that will increase the general awareness on these rare and too often neglected clinical conditions. This endeavor is aimed to guide clinicians in their practice to prevent or minimize as possible the impact that these diseases cause at various target tissues of thyroid hormone action.
