To ensure that we are able to provide consistent diagnostic results, there are two fields that Dr. Lex AI is not currently covering: trauma and mental health. Trauma should not be left to be diagnosed by symptoms and medical history alone, and the extent of traumatic injury can only be known through conventional laboratory tests. As a result, Dr. Lex AI does not attempt to predict diagnoses for trauma. Additionally, Dr. Lex AI does not currently attempt to provide diagnoses for conditions regarding mental health. The diagnostic procedure for mental illness is a separate process from traditional physical illnesses, and often takes into consideration many factors that Dr. Lex AI does not currently analyze and cannot test for.

Dr. Lex is committed to providing powerful tools for health education, such as Dr. Lex EDU. After attending IMSH2023 and connecting with the people already contributing to health education, we were inspired to take Dr. Lex one step further.

Dr. Lex is now broadening its horizons to bring our Dr. Lex CDS and Dr. Lex EDU tools to simulation centers, particularly with our virtual patient simulator tool. Not only will students and doctors alike be able to instantly receive a detailed list of the patient’s background, but they will also be able to speak to and receive responses from our Dr. Lex AI patient in real time, mimicking a real check up.
