Last week, the Theodora Foundation had the honour of hosting The Healthcare Clowning International Meeting 2026! 🫧

684 participants from around the world — hospital clowns, healthcare professionals and researchers — came together with a shared mission: shaping the future of healthcare together. 🌍

142 organisations from 46 countries joined forces to create a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere, sparking experimentation, deep reflection and exchanges at the heart of artistic creativity. It encouraged exchanges that enriched our artistic and professional practices. 🌟🤝

HCIM 2026 demonstrated that healthcare clowning is much more than laughter; it is a vibrant expression of care, creativity and human connection.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and contributed to these inspiring conversations. Your presence and insights made this congress a truly special event! 🧡
