Just a few things to tick off the list today to feel amazing 😎

🔥 Fire up your core to fire up the body
🔥 Fire up the glutes, especially if you are sitting on the pore guys the rest of the day 😅🙈🪑
👩🏼‍💻 Try setting a timer for every ⏰ 25 min and check in with your posture ! Stand up move around and get back to work - it won’t take more than 2 min if that’s all you have ... that at least 16 extra minutes of movement a day than you would have done otherwise 🤷🏼‍♀️😎
🌬 Breathe ! Now I don’t mean just your casual automatic breathing that’s a given 😜 try focusing on 👃🏼nose breathing and slowing the breath down to a count of 5 to inhale and 5 to exhale ! Try at least 1 x today for at least 6 rounds that 1 min 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe before a stressful Zoom call 🧑🏽‍💻

3 things to think about to help avoid pain

🚨 Your breathing
🚨 Your daily work habits
🚨 Your movement habits

These are three topics I talk about all the time ! Because even small shifts in one or all three areas can make such a big difference to discomfort and pain and overall energy , wellbeing and performance !

Save this post take note of those 3 topics and the questions below ⬇️ and start noticing what is happening in your body !

NOW: ⬇️

Some questions to think about :

🗒Do you breath quickly or slow ?
🗒are you a chest or belly breather ?
🗒Do you inhale more than you exhale ?
🗒When you exercise / train and you go faster or uphill are you still breathing through your nose or do you mouth breath ?
🗒 how long do you stay in the same position when you are working ?
🗒how many breaks do you take a day ?
🗒how many times do you stand and move not counting lunch and bathroom breaks ?
🗒 do you warm up before you train ?
🗒 do you stretch after training ?
🗒 do you vary your training or mostly do the same things ?
🗒do you have any pain / discomfort?

❄️ Winter swims ❄️

Have you tried ? I’ve been doing it all winter and it makes me feel amazing !

A few of the benefits that intrigued me at the beginning where :

✨Boost your immune system
✨Energy booster
✨Natural height - endorphine boost
✨Improves your circulation
✨Redues stress
✨and so much more ....

I’ve learnt to control my breath, to control my mind and found a way get out into nature regardless of the weather to enjoy time outside and feel amazing after. It shifts my whole energy I can’t explain it properly but the feeling is amazing and lifts me up for the rest of the day .

I love bringing people with me and a few of you are real troupers 💪🏻 would you like to come again ? 😍 🤩

And I know some of you have asked to do it with me so let’s make a plan !! I would love to do it with you !

This week I did a sunrise swim and it was stunning 🔥

Posture challenge is starting on Monday !

Join us for 10 days and get a new recorded video to work on your posture every day, Monday to Friday for two weeks .

Suboptimal posture can negatively effect you in so many ways ! Just starting to work on it can make a world of difference ! I’ve seen it so many times with students and myself !
