                                            Let's Play...
The images are AI, but that's not the only fishy thing about these pictures. They're all fake in several ways, but what gave it away?
1: In the first picture, is it the baby's foot that seems to be angled in a completely unnatural way? Even if you didn't spot that, the fact that Baby looks to be a few weeks old at most and mom has toned abs, looks well-rested and her house is tidy should be a dead giveaway.
2: Ah yes, cooking a nice homemade, healthy meal in the kitchen with your partner. Never mind the fact that the pan is not actually on a stove nor does it seem to have anything in it, or that mom seems to have one finger too many - who actually has time to cook together (happily!) postpartum??
3: What jumped out at you first? Was it the three-fingered baby hands or perhaps the more glaring sign that this mom has two young babies on her lap, looks totally put together and has had time to put each of her baby's toes into their proper slot in some sort of weird toe-tights? And of course neither of them are putting their hands into her scalding hot coffee.
4: Upon close inspection the baby on the floor seems to have had her face melted into her hand and perhaps an extra foot added on for good measure. AI mistakes aside, though, this mom is somehow in a magical place where her house is tidy, the sun is shining, and she is enjoying a book while her three children play peacefully (without making a mess of course) and the fourth sleeps quietly on the floor next to them.
Games aside, let's be real - postpartum has beautiful, cuddly moments that fill your heart and bring you closer together as partners. But it's also messy. It's not knowing when you showered last, staying in your sweat pants all day, letting the household chores slide, and walking around with your b**b out without noticing.

And that's okay. That's reality.
You'll get around to reading a book again, cooking a meal with your partner, or watching your kids play peacefully while you drink your coffee while it's still hot.
Until then, hang in there, Mama.
