💛 This summer slowed me down in the best possible way… and reminded me of things I don’t want to forget.
Maybe they’ll speak to you too:

Rest isn’t a luxury — it’s essential for health.

Pausing is powerful.

Disconnecting from social media is ok.

The right people will find you anyway.

I can’t control others — only myself and how I respond.

Sunshine fuels my soul.

I’m a child of water — lakes, seas, rivers… nature recharges me every time.

Being around people who lift me up is priceless.

Family moments are treasures.

Friends? My ultimate energy boost. 💛

Painting is pure joy for me — proven again this summer.
On hot days, I’d find a shady spot, take my art materials outside, and lose track of time in the colors and shapes.

🌻 Feeling grateful for these reminders — and curious:
What’s one thing this summer reminded you of?

Stay hydrated and see you soon!

✨ The Therapeutic Effect of Yellow ✨

Colors have always guided me.
As a deeply visual person, I’ve long felt their emotional pull—rearranging, repainting, and recreating my spaces to match the shifting seasons inside me.

As a child, I was constantly moving things around in my room, choosing colors that reflected my inner world.

Looking back, each hue marked a chapter. Even then, I was speaking through color—before I had words for it.

Now I live in a mostly white, minimal home. It’s bright and practical, perfect for a family of four. But deep down, I miss the vibrancy. I dream of painting every wall in colors that match the rhythm of our lives.
Until then—I paint on canvas.

Lately, I’ve been exploring the therapeutic power of color more intentionally. I used to be skeptical. I even shared a post about chakras and color a few years ago, but I hadn’t yet done the inner work. Now, things are shifting.

One color that has taken on new meaning for me is yellow. 🌞

Yellow is the color of the solar plexus chakra—our center of confidence, clarity, and inner strength. It’s connected to the gut, often called our second brain, where we digest not just food, but emotions and stress.

My husband has been navigating gut issues, and it made me wonder: what if energy gets stuck? What if color can help it flow again?

So I painted a canvas in layered yellows—a warm, glowing piece infused with the intention to heal, energize, and uplift. It now hangs in our home.
And something shifted.
Subtle, maybe. But real.

Yellow feels like a quiet invitation to step into power.
To digest, to decide, to move forward with courage and clarity.

There’s still so much we don’t know about the link between color, emotion, and health—but I believe in it.
Because I’ve lived it.
Art is my medicine.
My way of caring—for myself, and the people I love.

Stay creative!
Laura

There is a deep place within us — a place of intuition, creativity, and pure life force.
In the midst of everyday life, this space often gets quiet.
This morning is an invitation to return to it.

In the breathtaking beauty of Interlaken, in the heart of the Jungfrau region, we gather in the peaceful atmosphere of namAloha Yoga Studio— a space where the mountains, lakes, and nature itself support us in softening, opening, and coming home to ourselves.

Together with my soul sister Karin Oberli .yoga we create a sacred, nurturing space just for you.

We begin with a Cacao Ceremony opening the heart and setting a soulful intention.
Through a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice, we journey into a space between waking and dreaming — where the mind rests and the wisdom of the body and heart rises to the surface.
From this deep connection to our intuition, you will be guided into intuitive art creation — a free, joyful expression of your inner world, lovingly supported by me, Laura Latacz, certified non-clinical Art Therapist.

This morning is a gift to yourself as a woman.
A time to slow down.
To listen inward.
To create without judgment.
To feel the quiet power of simply *being*.

There is no need for any artistic experience — only a willingness to open, to feel, and to trust your own inner flow.

Come as you are.
Leave feeling connected, inspired, and nourished.

We can’t wait to share this soulful journey with you.

👋🏼 hello there beautiful soul!

I’ve been a bit quiet here lately, enjoying an Easter break and soaking up precious time with family and friends in my country of birth, Belgium 🇧🇪

Living abroad makes these moments feel even more special — a beautiful mix of gratitude, nostalgia, and sometimes a little heartache.

It’s been 14 years now since I left home — five of those in Germany. I moved to Berlin at 24, telling my environment, “Just three months, just a little adventure!”
Well… oops.
This year marks almost 10 years in Switzerland. Time flies — and life away from home is such an enrichment, but it can also blow you off your feet.
At times, it leaves you with a feeling of being derooted — floating a bit between worlds.

In my therapeutic art sessions, I meet many expats who are navigating similar life questions. Because I’ve walked that road too, my sense of understanding them is big.
Sometimes words aren’t enough to fully grasp what’s going on inside — and that’s where art therapy can be so healing.
Expressing yourself through creative processes can help reconnect to your inner world, in ways language sometimes cannot.

These pictures show landmarks from the place I grew up. They might seem ordinary to you, but to
me, they hold a whole universe of memories 😉

Sometimes we suffer in silence—not because we want to, but because we don’t always have the space, the words, or someone we feel safe enough to open up to. And in those moments, painting can become a quiet savior. A place to process, to feel, to be heard without ever speaking.

This artwork was created by a client who gave permission to share it anonymously. In her painting, she depicted a sorrowful tree—symbolizing the heaviness of what’s happening in the world. But she also painted herself walking toward the light, choosing not to carry it all, not to be consumed by the darkness.

It’s a powerful visual narrative of awareness and boundary-setting. Of feeling deeply but not letting it define you.

Art therapy holds this kind of magic. It allows you to release, transform, and reconnect with yourself—one brushstroke at a time.

Are you interested how art can be therapy for you?

Sensing our way into creativity 🎨🧑🏽‍🎨

The last Creative Self-Empowerment workshop at Loreto was all about tuning into our senses.

What do I like to hear, smell, see, taste, feel?
What am I grateful for?

From there, we created art—not from our thoughts, but from our felt experience.

One of the coolest moments:
Painting music.
We listened to classical sounds, nature recordings, rhythmic beats…
And noticed how our mood—and our artwork—shifted with each sound.

It was playful, mindful, and so full of energy.
Grateful for this last session and the beautiful group I got to guide.
