Painting releases endorphins.
Not as a reward — as a response.

It’s the act itself.
The movement.
The play.

Stepping slightly outside what’s familiar.
Allowing the hands to lead.

Joy appears.
Time slows.
The system settles.

No fixing.
No improving.
Just presence.

Sometimes things in life happen for a reason.
Not because they’re easy, but because something else is waiting for us — or because we’re invited to go inward.

At Hands-on Art, I often meet people who are standing at a life shift. Moments where thinking no longer helps, where change feels close but unclear.

Working with me can help set you free. It starts with a gentle rebellion — like painting — and it moves forward from there. You already carry the answers within you. Through painting, we bring them to the surface. When we create, the right brain awakens: emotions, intuition, the subconscious. Less thinking. More listening to your heart.

I know this path well. I’ve been there too.

I offer 1:1 sessions as well as group workshops.

Soon, I’m starting a new Empower Yourself Through Art program at Loreto, and meditative painting workshops again in Cham at Langhuus — after work, for those who need a little rebellion after a heavy day.

If this resonates, you’re very welcome to visit my website or reach out anytime. I’m happy to connect.

Intuitive Painting Workshop – A Creative Pause for You
📍 Peerspace Zug | 🗓 Friday | ⏰ 10:00

Step out of your busy day and into a space where you don’t have to perform, achieve, or be “good at art.”
This Friday at Peerspace Zug, I’m hosting my very first collaboration there — and you’re warmly invited.

This workshop is for you if you long to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and let your hands speak before your mind does.

What can you expect?

✨ A guided intuitive painting session
You’ll be gently led into the creative process with simple prompts, music and guidance. No techniques to master, no rules to follow — just you, color, and what wants to emerge.

🌿 Connection with yourself
Through breath, small grounding exercises and creativity, you’ll drop out of your head and into your body. Painting becomes a way to listen to what’s inside you.

🎨 Creative self-care
You’ll learn how intuitive painting can become a tool for self-care — something you can return to whenever you need rest, clarity or expression.

🥐 Brunch-style light bites
Enjoy delicious, simple snacks and drinks in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

🤍 A safe, warm group
No pressure to share, no comparison — just a small group of people showing up as they are.

You don’t need:

Any painting experience

To be “creative”

To know what you’ll paint

You only need curiosity and the wish to give yourself a little time.

You will leave with:

Your own intuitive artwork

A calmer nervous system

New inspiration for creative self-care

The feeling of having done something just for you

Come as you are.
Paint what you feel.
Leave a little lighter.

Hello beautiful soul✨

I hope you had wonderful festive days and that the new year has started well for you.
And just like that… work, school, life — all switched back on again.

I consciously chose to step back from social media these past two weeks. No pressure to show up. Just digitally detox 🥰
Time with family and friends. We ate, laughed, skied, and truly enjoyed being together 🤍

And of course, I painted.
As always, just for myself, as art therapy.
So much so that I forgot to take pictures — which is usually the best sign 😉

This first Monday after the holidays always feels a little overwhelming to me. Suddenly I’m wide awake from winter sleep, diving into goals, opening Excel sheets, wanting to optimise everything at once.

This post is a reminder — for myself and for you:
We can handle it. 😎
No rush. One step at a time.
Finding our rhythm again. Back into action.

And may we stay grateful, because every single day is a gift 🤍

My thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic events in Crans-Montana. Moments like these remind us how precious and fragile life is.
Sending you a gentle, grounded start into this new year ✨

I guess my job is to make others HAPPY! 🤓😍

Thank you for the magnificent review @ Technologie Forum Zug.

“We had the pleasure of participating in a workshop with Laura from Hands on Art as part of our Christmas dinner, and it was fantastic. We all had a wonderful time and were able to escape from everyday life for a while and get creative. Laura was very well organized and guided us through the workshop with great calm and clarity. A truly wonderful experience that we highly recommend.”

Working together with the best people is a dream!!

✨ Mutig Malen Workshop – Technologie Forum Zug ✨

I had the chance to organize a “Mutig Malen” workshop for Technologie Forum Zug — as part of their program focused on exchanging insights on key industry topics and encouraging networking.

The workshop offered a breather in the participants’ daily routine.
The aim was simple: having fun and letting go of all the stigmas that still exist around making art.

In school we often learn to judge art as right/wrong or pretty/not pretty.
Art classes are great — but we also need space for self-exploration and experimentation.

Many children — and later adults — start believing they are “not good enough” and step away from art.
I truly hope some of them will return to painting after this workshop. 😉

This group of Top-tier CEOs discovered something new:
Art can be a tool to release tension and stress, express emotions, and reconnect with themselves and others.

And intuitive art doesn’t start with the result — it’s all about the process.
Making art, especially in a group, can feel intimate and confronting.
You need a bit of courage. You need to be brave. And you need to let go.
When people see photos from my workshops, they sometimes think:
“What on earth were they doing?”
They judge based on pretty vs. not pretty.
But that’s not the point.

It’s about being together and stepping out of the comfort zone — together.
The atmosphere was fantastic. People genuinely had fun.
(And yes — a little wine here and there certainly helped 😉)

Despite the aprons I provided, many participants ended up with paint on their clothes — a true sign of letting go and fully enjoying the process!

The beautiful space at Panorama 24 was simply WOW.
Thank you all for being there — and for this wonderful opportunity!
