Sabemos que 5 de cada 100 niños menores de 6 años tienen algún problema visual. De ellos, la inmensa mayoría (97%), corresponde a problemas solucionables con lentes; situaciones que, si bien no son graves, tienen que ser resueltas para que el niño pueda ver. El 3% restante de los casos son patologías graves, como Glaucoma, desprendimiento de retina o tumores oculares.
