Today’s session was centered on "The Weight of Expectations: Navigating Cultural Pressures and Anxiety."

We had an honest conversation about how family, cultural, career, and marriage expectations in our Cameroonian context can quietly create pressure and anxiety, especially for young people. We discussed the difference between healthy expectations and harmful pressure, how comparison and social media increase anxiety, and the different burdens men and women carry.

We also touched on signs of anxiety that are often overlooked and shared practical ways to set respectful boundaries while maintaining cultural values.
