What a way to end the amazing year - 2025.

Every year, OPHEG organises an end of year event tagged "The Optimum Outdoor Experience" in a Form. This year was more than epic as we were graced with the Presence of the Nfon of Kumba, and the Paramount Ruler of the Bafaw - Senator Nfon Mukete Ekoko IV together with the Family.

He had a short Impactful time with us as he was so impressed to see young people come together to prioritize their such relaxation activity other than going to bars etc.

The year ended remarkably as we joined together to celebrate OPHEG's impact journey throughout the 3rd year, achievements, challenges and the story for next year #2026.

Hey dear people 👋

Once again we are thrilled to bring to you this wonderful program organised by .

We recognise the importance of coming together after a busy year with great achievements, impact creation, policies improvement and mentorships and we decided to converge in a common place where we come to celebrate these achievements, reconnect, relax, refresh and recreate.

Following our last year's Picnic event, we decided to now make this year memorable by opening the doors to everyone who would want to be part of this session.

While trying to limit entry and to make people value what they want to do or be intentional about their actions, we decided to put a token fee.

It's time to give yourself a treat this year! It's your "YOU TIME".

2 DAYS COMMUNITY IMPACT DAY🎉

Day one of the 2Days Community Impact Day in commemoration of our 3 Years Anniversary as an organisation was nothing short of .

Day 1 was based solely on medication attention of the community members. We started at exactly 8am when the steady crowd started flooding in, and we ended at 8pm in the evening when the crowd was still very persistent.

We are most happy that we could provide services to the people of Mbalangi Community in the following areas:
🎯 FREE Hepatitis B screening
🎯 FREE Consultation
🎯 FREE Laboratory Tests
🎯 FREE Ultrasound procedures
🎯 Health Education on hygiene, sanitary, diets, hypertension and basic first aid measures.

Despite having up to #3 consultation stations, the crowd kept on persisting and seemed like it won't end! In the end, we attended to more than 150 people (children, adults and the old). This is part of our mission, to bring free health services to the door step of the community ensuring that everyone at least, benefits.

We can't go further without extending great thanks to the volunteers (doctors, nurses, lab scientists, educators, media personnel, triage team etc), for their endless sacrifice on day one which was nothing short of hectic.

3 Years, One Vision, Continuous Impact! Happy Anniversary OPHEGMITES!

3 YEARS...ONE VISION... CONTINUOUS IMPACT🔊🔊

We began the Anniversary Tour On Wednesday 19th November 2025 in the principal town of Meme Division, Southwest Region, Cameroon.

As the tour is progressive, we successfully launched the campaign in Kumba making tremendous impact and progress in the various schools visited.

We extended the tour to the Government Primary School (GPS) Kumba Mbeng. We met with Classes 5 & 6 of Group 1 and 2. The total population was over 300 pupils. The population was quite huge but thanks to our volunteers, it was properly coordinated.

In the session, we taught these pupils practically:
📌 Meaning of bleeding,
📌 Meaning of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
📌 Meaning of Choking.

After the educational part, they had to practice hands on the exercise:
🎯 How to manage bleeding especially nose bleeding.
🎯 How to manage a person who has fainted or has a heart attack using CPR.
🎯 How to rescue someone Chocking.

The pupils learned expressively and even practiced it on themselves under supervision of our lead trainers.

We can't go forward without appreciating the various authorities in Meme, that gave us authorisation, our beloved volunteers and the administration of the school!.
