Special Thanks to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Make-IT in Africa for their support to the African Tech and entrepreneurship Ecosystem

The year 2023 was an exciting and impactful journey with the Support of Make-IT in Africa

It was more than the Capacity Building, Resource sharing, and travel but about the linkages, creating meaningful relationships, and redefining our Support model for startups and Entrepreneurs in Africa.

We were selected for 3 Core Programs Sponsored by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Make-IT in Africa

1. Huggs (Hubs go green)
With the goal to Strengthen hubs or accelerators and make them the go-to-place for Greentech startups in their country. The program aims to connect the hubs to build a specialized Greentech community that is collaborative, regionally and globally interconnected and mission-oriented.

2. ISO Accelerate Africa
The program will build the capacity of tech hubs, incubators, and accelerators from across Africa to better support the growth of impactful tech and tech-enabled businesses making them ready and attractive to investors, funders, and strategic partners.

3. Gender Smart Bootcamp
The focus of the project aims to support digital innovation startups and ecosystem support organizations on their journey towards greater gender diversity in the African innovation ecosystem, through tailored, world-class gender lens training and advisory services designed to close gender gaps.

This was a great opportunity to learn, unlearn, share best practices, refine and pivot to better performing models, question our why, and refocus for greater impact.

We have seen massive improvement and concrete impact in our project, and program delivery Post these programs.

We want to thank Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Make-IT in Africa for the backbone role and continuous support they give to Ecosystem Enablers on the Continent.

Consistent Collaboration and intense partnership are required to scale the Solutions and impact we want to see in the continent.
