The will participate in this important learning opportunity and invites partners, practitioners, and stakeholders to register and participate.

As part of , Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’s Humanitarian Partnerships, civil society organisations are combining immunisation services with other essential interventions to ensure children aged 0–5 in conflict- and crisis-affected areas are fully immunised and better served.

Join ZIP partners in and as they share practical experiences of integrating nutrition and additional services alongside immunisation. These approaches demonstrate how integration can strengthen outcomes, improve efficiency, and address urgent humanitarian needs.

In the Far North, Ponte de Sahel CSO is implementing a gender-sensitive vaccination initiative by collaborating with women and female caregivers, who are the primary care givers for child health. They utilise mothers’ groups, conduct home visits, and leverage peer networks to identify access challenges, plan routes to health services, and link families to outreach programs and fixed vaccination sites in Mokolo Health District.

When caregivers visit vaccination posts, they get more than just vaccines. They also receive nutrition screening, deworming, health education, and referrals during a single visit. Immunisation thus serves as the gateway to comprehensive child-survival services.

Cervical cancer starts in the cervix due to persistent high-risk HPV infection. While common and often cleared naturally, long-term infection can alter cervical cells, potentially leading to cancer if untreated.
The good news!
With HPV vaccination and regular screening, cervical cancer remains one of the most preventable cancers globally.
Prevention works. Early action saves lives.

Every girl deserves protection before exposure to HPV (the virus that causes most cervical cancers). The HPV vaccine protects against the strains responsible for 70% of cervical cancer cases and dramatically reduces infection risk.
The earlier the jab, the stronger the lifelong protection.
Vaccine + screening = a future with fewer cancers.

Cervical cancer is preventable yet remains one of the leading causes of death among women worldwide, with new cases and deaths occurring mostly in low- and middle-income countries like ours.
At this World Cervical Cancer celebration, we say it loud:
🚫 Cancer doesn’t have to be your story.
📍 Prevention starts with knowledge, early screening, and protection for young girls.
