Visiting Master Zhao for Spring Festival.

Just like every year, this year Yiyin, one of Canaan Hospital founders, paid a visit to Master Zhao, a famous local acupuncture master who also happens to be her grandfather.

Among the numerous fascinating items he has, we asked him about a picture in one of him book shelves.

Master Zhao held the picture and explained that it was given to him by a 41 year old female patient many years ago. The patient suffered from facial paralysis in her left part, and after 10 treatments she experienced a full recovery. The patient was so thankful that she gave Master Zhao the item which is now rests on his bookshelf.

Master Zhao will take part in the upcoming TCM seminar this March, where he will show his treatment methods and answer 1/1 questions with the coming delegates 🙏

First hospital in Zhejiang province, Canaan Hospital successfully completed the first dosage delivery of Pluvicto (LU177), a radiolagand targeted therapy.

The patient, 71 year-old male, with a stage-4 prostate cancer, waved goodbye to its doctors as he was walked out after spending two nights in the ward. This targeted treatment is aimed for elongate patient life and to alleviate the pain, with minimum side effects.

"You know, 35 years ago, China was very different from today. Back then, I didn't have access to the technology and knowledge like I have today. I had a friend who came with metastatic cancer, but there was little I can do to ease his suffering. Eventually, after he passed away, it weighted heavy on my heart that I couldn't even help to reduce his suffering. This is when I decided to dedicated my life to be a pain control doctor, so I can help and reduce the pain for patients the best I can. Canaan hospital held a successful delegation to Yinning hospital in Hangzhou, famous for treating cancer-related psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and sleep disorders.

At the symposium, the two sides focused on the common psychological stress response, comprehensive management of pain and emotions, as well as the support and grief counseling of family members.

As the medical world moves forward, integrated and holistic approach focuses on the quality of life of patients, ultimately allowing every patient to receive both physical and mental care. 🙏

TCM treatments to be fully integrated as part of our medical services for our cancer patients 🙏

As part of Prof.Stemmer visit, we have started integrating TCM protocols as part of a holistic approach for our patients. Our first in-house TCM master will beginning his work after spring festival, and will join our renown team of TCM Masters visiting our hospital on a rotating base.

In addition, all TCM treatments will be digitalized and synchronized in our in the patient file, documented in our in-house servers, and available for the patients for future reference 🙏

Such an honor to have Prof.Salomon Stemmer, our foreign president, visiting us last week!

Prof.Stemmer had come to overview the hospital on its opening month, making sure the level of our medical work remains on the highest standards as we enter our first month of trial opening.

Prof.Stemmer had been over-sighting our hospital as foreign president since its birth, nearly 5 years ago. This January, for the first time, Prof.Stemmer also saw the first patients arriving to our hospital, to whom he gave consultations and personalized treatment plans.
