LANNX uRason CW6+ User Guide: Get Started with Your Pocket Ultrasound in 3 Minutes
Preparation (Must Read Before Unboxing):
Take out the probe, charging cable (Type-C), and instruction manual.
Ensure the probe is fully charged: Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to turn it on; the indicator light will illuminate.
For first-time use, a full charge is recommended (approximately 2 hours to fully charge; wireless or USB charging is possible).
Download the companion app (for your device):
Android phones/tablets: Search for "Wireless USG" or scan the QR code to download.
iOS (iPad/iPhone): Search for "Wireless USG" in the App Store or scan the QR code to download.
Step 1: Connect the Probe (Choose one of two methods)
WiFi Wireless Connection (Recommended, Portable and Unrestricted)
After turning on the probe by pressing the power button, open the app. Turn on WiFi in the upper left corner of the app, search for and connect to the probe's hotspot (the password is usually on the probe itself).
Once connected successfully, a real-time ultrasound image will appear on the app interface, and the probe's indicator light will remain on.
Step 2: Select Probe Mode (Long press the power button to switch between both probes)
One side of the probe is a Convex array: suitable for deep scans of the abdomen, obstetrics, lungs, heart, etc. (frequency 3.5/5.0 MHz, depth 90-305mm).
The other side is a Linear array: suitable for superficial tissues, blood vessels, muscles, thyroid glands, puncture guidance, etc. (frequency 7.5/10 MHz, depth 20-100mm).
Long press the power button to switch probes; the currently used probe type will be displayed at the top of the app.
Step 3: Start Scanning (Super Simple Operation)
Apply an appropriate amount of medical coupling gel (ultrasound gel) to the scanning surface of the probe.
Gently place the probe against the skin (with moderate pressure, hold it like a pen).
The app displays real-time images:
Default B mode (black and white anatomical image).
Click to switch to Color Doppler, Pulse Doppler (PW), M mode, etc.
Adjustable settings: Gain, Depth, Focal Length, Frequency, Freeze, Measurement (Distance, Area, Speed, etc.).
Scanning Tips:
Keep the probe perpendicular to the skin and avoid air bubbles.
Slowly translate/tilt/rotate the probe to find the optimal slice.
For lung ultrasound, it is recommended to use linear array + shallow depth to look for features such as the "lung gliding sign".
Step 4: Save and Share
After clicking Freeze, you can take a screenshot, record a video, or save the dynamic image.
The app supports direct export to your photo album, WeChat, email, or cloud storage.
After measurement, a report template can be generated and shared with patients or colleagues with one click.
Step 5: Power Off and Maintenance
After use, wipe the probe surface gel with a soft cloth (IP67 waterproof, washable, but avoid prolonged immersion).
Press and hold the power button to power off, or it will automatically enter sleep mode.
Charge regularly and store in a dry, ventilated place, avoiding high temperatures/pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions Quick Solutions
Can't connect? → Restart the probe and device, and confirm the WiFi hotspot connection is correct.
Blurry image? → Check if there is enough gel, if the gain is appropriate, and if the depth matches the organ.
Dead battery? → Use while charging (USB mode supported).
