This posts indicated the situation that we're in today. There needs to be a balance of medical supply between Medical Staff, Essential Businesses, and the General Public.

We are now facing a shortage in our medical system of PPE supplies.

We wholeheartedly agree, that masks are needed for the frontline workers who are DIRECTLY treating patients with COVID-19. We will then need to move toward supplying businesses and people taking trips to grocery stores.

We will be working on this one step at a time. Making sure that those who need protective equipment urgently are the first to receive them.

We will get through this together. Stay Home. Practice Social Distancing. Wash Your Hands. DIY a mask if needed.

If individuals could reason in late January that they should purchase a mask, governments should have taken action to secure a supply for health-care workers

While we must supply our healthcare providers with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we'll need to also have a steady supply for essential services/businesses and the general public.

Doctors and Nurses are our frontline workers and our LAST line of defence. We must do our part to support them, by avoiding close contact and practice social distancing. It will also never hurt to wear a mask (as long as you do so properly.)
