Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive?
Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated?
Did you know the one who takes care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most?
Did you know the 3 hardest things to say are I love you, I'm sorry, and Help me.

Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile and see how much pain they may be in. To all my friends who are going through some issues right now--Let's start an intention avalanche. We all need positive intentions right now.
If I don't see your name, I'll understand. May I ask my friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I know some will!! I did it for a friend and you can too. You have to copy & paste this one, no share button, because kindness is a effort given from the ♥ not the press of a button.

Kidney Disease: Changing Your Diet

When you have kidney disease, your kidneys are no longer working as well as they need to. Changing your diet can help protect your kidneys. It can also help you control other diseases, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, that can make kidney disease worse.

This topic can give you some general ideas about how to follow the diet your doctor or dietitian recommends.

Note: These diet tips are not for you if you are on dialysis or have had a kidney transplant. Follow the special diet your doctor gave you.

Key points
Most people who have kidney disease need to limit salt (sodium), fluids, and protein. Some also have to limit potassium and phosphorus.
There is no one diet that is right for everyone who has kidney disease. Your doctor or dietitian can tailor a diet for you based on how well your kidneys are working.
It may be hard to change your diet. You may have to give up many foods you like. But it is very important to make the recommended changes so you can stay healthy for as long as possible.
You need to get enough calories to be healthy and have energy. If you have a hard time eating enough, talk to your doctor or dietitian about ways to add calories to your diet.
Your diet may change over time as your disease changes. See your doctor for regular testing, and work with a dietitian to adjust your diet as needed.

Name: Mr. Walter Lanham

AGE: 4X

COUNTRY: Ohio, United States

DIAGNOSIS: Polycystic Kidney Disease

CONDITION:

A hereditary Polycystic Kidney Disease. Family members, uncle, father, grandmother all died in the past. His mother passed away last year unfortunately. He has lost half of the kidney function. Mr. Lanham has no obvious symptoms but lucky enough that he was doing annual check-up and was paying good attention and caring to his condition.

REASONS FOR COMING TO CHINA:

Mr. Lanham found that other hospitals may do some stem cells. But the cleaning of the blood was not addressed. Which he thought it was something really should be seriously addressed to. So he started a more thorough research of that. Then he studied that Australia has some studies on stem cells and other countries, of which stem cells showed great promising result. Therefore, he decided that this would be the best option for him.

Treatment:

2 treatments of umbilical cord stem cell, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, blood purification.

START OF TREATMENT:

June, 2012

CONDITION AFTER TREATMENT:

“I'm only half lost of the kidney function. So I'm not really bad as some of the patients here from around the world. I mean, they give some serious very good treatment to this people. And I really don't think I'm gonna see any major affect till several months down the road. Because that's the rest of the treatment. The treatment goes on at home, you do yourself, compare to just 30 or sometimes 40 days here. You still have to continue afterwards. So I think I will see better results because I'm not as sick as some of the people that are on dialysis already and really need some strong therapy.” Said Walter.
