Basic Introduction of Zinc Selenide

Zinc Selenide（ZnSe） material is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material. The crystal particle size is about 70 meters, and the light transmission range is 0.5-15 meters. The chemical v***r deposition (CVD) method has no impurity absorption and low scattering loss. Since the absorption of 10.6 light-wavelength is very small, it has become the preferred material for making optical devices in the high-power CO2 laser system. In addition, it is also commonly used in different optical systems in the whole transparent band.

Zinc Selenide（ZnSe） is the best optical material in high power CO2 laser system because of its high resistance to thermal shock. The hardness is only 2/3 of the multispectral ZnS, the material is soft and easy to produce scratches, and the material has a large refractive index, so it is necessary to coat the surface with a high hardness anti-reflection film to protect it and obtain a high transmittance. In its common spectral range, the scattering is very low. When used as high power laser devices, it is necessary to strictly control the material's body absorption and internal structural defects, and adopt the polishing technology with the minimum damage degree and the coating technology with the highest optical quality.

Brief introduction of Tungsten boat

Tungsten boat can also be called ev***rated tungsten boat or coated tungsten boat. It is made of tungsten sheet by high temperature stamping, including stamping boat, welding boat, riveting boat, etc.

Coating materials and coating technology for Reflector

An optical element that causes incident light to reflect by coating a thin film of metallic silver (or aluminum) on the back of optical glass by vacuum plating. The output power of the laser can be doubled by using a reflector with high reflection ratio, also is the first reflection surface reflection, reflection image without distortion, no glint, for the front surface reflection effect. If the ordinary mirror is used as the second reflector, the reflectivity is low, no selectivity to wavelength, but also easy to produce double shadow. Applications of Silicon Dioxide

Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) has the following characteristics: high hardness, good wear resistance, good insulation, high densification, high light transmittance, low absorption of light scattering, strong corrosion resistance and good dielectric (insulation). When plated into different thicknesses of silica film, it can improve or reach new physicochemical properties, which are highly valued in many high-tech fields, such as photocatalysis, microelectronics, quantum devices, micro-nanofabrication and transparent adiabatic, etc. It has a very good application prospect.

Aluminium Oxide（Al2O3）is a high hardness compound with a melting point of 2054℃ and a boiling point of 2980℃, ionizable ion crystals at high temperature, often used in manufacturing refractory materials.

Monocrystalline silicon, chemical formula Si, molecular weight 28.09, CAS No.: 7440-21-3, usually refers to a kind of material formed by the arrangement of silicon atoms. Application of Zinc Selenide

Zinc Selenide, chemical formula ZnSe and its molecular weight is 144.33. It is a light yellow solid compound, insoluble in water. It is prepared from zinc chloride, zinc sulfate and hydrogen selenide. ZnSe is a kind of yellow transparent polycrystalline material with crystal size of about 70 μm and light transmission range of 0.5-15 μm. The chemical v***r deposition (CVD) method has no impurity absorption and low scattering loss. Due to the small absorption of 10.6 μm wavelength light, it has become the preferred material for optical devices in high power CO2 laser system. In addition, it is also widely used in different optical systems in the whole transmission band. Zinc selenide is the best optical material in high power CO2 laser system because of its high thermal shock resistance.
The hardness is only 2 / 3 of the multi spectral ZnS, the material is soft and easy to scratch, and the refractive index of the material is large, so it needs to be coated with high hardness antireflection film to protect it and obtain high transmittance. In the common spectral range, the scattering is very low. When used as high power laser devices, it is necessary to strictly control the volume absorption and internal structural defects of materials, and adopt the polishing technology with the least damage degree and the coating process with the highest optical quality.

ZnSe is chemically stable (except when treated with strong acid) and not hygroscopic. It can be safely used in most industrial, field and laboratory environments. It is often used in laser cutting, carving, marking, drilling and other CO2 laser systems. It can be used as fluorescent materials and semiconductor dopants, and is widely used in laser, medicine, astronomy, infrared night vision and other fields.
