What are the common problems in the use of rotary evaporator

Rotary evaporator is in constant use, so what problems should be paid attention to in the use of rotary evaporator?

The reason why the motor does not rotate:

Test content

1. The indicator light （or digital display） of the electric control box is on. Check whether the internal and external plug of the electric box is loose or broken.

2. The indicator light （or digital display） of the electric control box is not on.

3. Confirm that "1,2" is normal.

4. The inverter shows "o.u." due to high frequency interference.

5. Inverter protection function display.

Solution

1. Plug in the plug again and connect the broken wire.

2. Update the fuse or confirm that the power supply is normal.

3. Update the circuit board or electric control box.

4. Connect the ground wire or change the working place.

5. Eliminate according to P33 of inverter manual.

Detection content of bath pot temperature

1. When the bath temperature is higher than the set temperature, the "out" or "on" green indicator light in the temperature controller will not go out. （1-2 ℃ is normal）

2. The "out" or "on" green indicator light in the temperature controller is off, and the heating is still on.

3. The bath temperature of digital display is far lower than the actual bath temperature.

1. Change the temperature controller.

2. Replace solid state relay or relay board.

3. Change the probe or temperature controller.

What are the installation steps of explosion-proof rotary evaporator?

Rotate the rack on the working table close to the water source, and pad four hard rubber feet in case of unevenness.

Move the center of the machine head to the height of 48CM away from the chassis and tilt it to the right about 25 degrees. Lock the locking nuts on the frame.

Fix the electric control box according to the drawing and plug in the five core plug of the motor.

Insert the condenser into the interface of the machine head, adjust the movable joints to make the condenser vertical, and keep it with the fixing clamp. Condenser pipe joints backward.

Insert the feed tube into the condenser tube.

Connect the collecting bottle with the condenser pipe and clamp it with the bottle mouth clamp.

Put the rotary bottle on the right end of the rotating shaft and clamp it with the bottle mouth clamp.

Connect the vacuum pipe connector with the vacuum pipe at the suction pipe, and connect the other connector with the vacuum pump or laboratory vacuum switch.

（1） The joint （2） is connected with the cooling water （3） and the joint （4） is connected with the feeding pipe.

matters needing attention

During the installation of the equipment, a layer of vacuum grease should be applied to each grinding mouth, sealing surface, sealing ring and joint before installation.

Water shall be added before the heating tank is electrified, and dry burning without water is not allowed.

Re-201d screw （19） into the safety hole to avoid damaging the flask.

If the vacuum can not be pumped up, check:

① Are the joints and interfaces sealed

② Are sealing rings and sealing surfaces effective

③ Whether the vacuum grease between the main shaft and the sealing ring is well coated

④ Whether there is air leakage in vacuum pump and its leather tube

⑤ Whether the glass is cracked, broken or damaged.

What are the operation skills of single and double glass reactors?

The single and double glass reactor is widely used as an ideal equipment in the synthesis experiment of new biochemical materials.

1. In the reaction of different media in the glass reactor, it is necessary to first check whether the medium has corrosion on the main material.

Special orders are required for severe instantaneous reaction, large amount of gas or high-temperature flammable and explosive chemical reactions, and severe corrosion of stainless steel by high pressure, high temperature or medium containing chloride ions and fluorine ions.

Except that the kettle body and jacket of glass reactor are transparent glass, others are stainless steel or other metal materials;

2. When loading the reaction medium, it should not exceed 2 / 3 liquid level of the reactor body;

3. Do not disassemble under pressure when working or at the end of work! It is forbidden to work under the condition of overpressure and overtemperature;

4. When heating the jacket heat transfer oil, pay attention not to mix water or other liquids into the heat transfer oil, and check the oil level of the heat transfer oil irregularly;

5. If there is abnormal sound inside the isolation sleeve during operation, stop the machine for pressure relief and check whether the mixing system is abnormal. Regularly check the swing of the mixing shaft. If the swing is too large, replace the bearing or sliding shaft sleeve in time;

6. Connect the corresponding voltage according to the use voltage of the controller, single-phase 220V, three-phase 380V, do not connect the fire line and the zero line of the controller in reverse; do not implement wiring work in power transmission to prevent electric shock!

In order to ensure the normal operation of the controller and the personal safety of the staff, please connect the ground wire! The controller itself is not explosion-proof, so it should avoid flammable and explosive environment such as oil and gas;

7. When the temperature of the double-layer glass is not determined, it is not allowed to change the set temperature of the double-layer glass in the process of heating.
