If you are concerned that your pet is overheating, you should act immediately, as heatstroke can rapidly become a life-threatening emergency; We recommend to “cool first, transport second” as the immediate first aid response for dogs with heatstroke.
💦 Recommendations: Ensure your pets have access to plenty of fresh water and shade. Avoid taking them for walks during the hottest part of the day. Use pet-safe sunscreen if your pet has areas of exposed skin. Keep them cool and comfortable with a cooling mat or fan.
