Durant notre stage de perfectionnement swimrun à Mallorca, il a été rappelé que nos douleurs sont des messagers qu'il est plus judicieux d'écouter plutot que d'ignorer.
Au travers de tous nos entraînements à repetitions et des nombreuses heures passées assises, nos muscles se raccourcissent.
Encore plus important, le tissu connecteur fascial (comparable au film blanchâtre du pamplemousse) qui permet au déplacement des fibres musculaires de rester élastiques et d'encaisser les charges, se durcit et empêche au muscle de faire son travail dynamique.
Pour conséquence, le tissu se rigidifit, entraînant une cascade de problèmes:
[  ] Dureté musculaire
[  ] Sur-pression sur les meniscus d'articulations
[  ] Mauvaise circulation sanguine des artères voisines (nausée, fourmillements)
[  ] Pression sur les canaux nerveux entraînant des sensations de brûlures, douleurs insurmontable.

I came to this painful realization after decades of poor footwear trying to perform efficient and injury-free running.
I too had to endure it the hard way with plantar fasciitis.
