My name is Andrea Howells, and I provide assistance to women from diverse nationalities and cultures undergoing transitional phases in their lives. These transitions may include moving between countries, raising bilingual or cross-cultural children, searching for new personal or professional meanings, or trying to connect and adapt to different cultures. Most of the women I support are expatriates
, seeking to create a meaningful experience throughout their journey abroad. My goal is to help women achieve their potential, promote personal growth, and professional development while adjusting to their new country. Over a decade ago, I made the tough decision to leave my job as a financial coordinator to focus on raising my child and support my husband's demanding career. During this time, I decided to pursue my passion for health and wellbeing and became a certified coach in nutrition and wellness. I've since helped hundreds of women achieve their health and fitness goals, but I wanted to do more. I wanted to support women who, like myself, were living in a different culture, somewhere in between their home country and their new host country - the so-called "third culture." For nearly a quarter of a century, I've lived in various countries around the world. Moving to different countries, continents, and cultures has come with its fair share of challenges and setbacks, and I've had to start anew with each move. From building new friendships and finding the right school for my daughter to learning new languages and developing professional networks, every move required a fresh start. Despite the many privileges of expat life, such as exploring exotic locales and meeting new people, I wanted to give my experiences a deeper meaning and help other women navigate the day-to-day challenges of expat life, in addition to achieving their optimal nutrition, health, and wellness goals.
