With the way we set up the three main categories we want you to get your own impression about the PLACES, EXPERIENCES & PEOPLE of each country you look at. Why just write about the PEOPLE’S habits and traditions when you can listen & let them talk? Or why just describe a ritual when you can create images, sound and have the person who practices the ritual explain it to us? For PLACES we choose not only the postcard pics, but a good mix of impressions that reflect the vibe and atmosphere. We are Chris and Denise, founders of globeseekers.com, traveling long-term and starting the blog to learn & create impressions and infos about the countries we come across. Here a short intro about each other:

Denise loves water in all its forms, surfing waves around the world, practicing yoga and eating herself through all the yummy deli kitchens. She likes to laugh and talk with the people, writes, films and takes photographs. Chris or “Giggi” loves getting powder in his face just as much as surfing the waves and enjoys nature & outdoor sports. He is the one taking most of the photos and video material.

Meet Avi. He just joined our first globeseekers Costa Rica retreat of the season together with his daughter. And he is another beautiful example of what these retreats are really about.

Avi shows that it truly doesn’t matter what age or background you come from. Whether you’re 20, 30, 40, or 69, you can still get inspired, learn new things, and stay open to new experiences.

He loved the boat trip to the island and felt safe and happy with the horses. He also enjoyed the different practices we shared with breathwork, qigong, meditation, yoga & yoga nidra.

It was inspiring to listen to his stories and to share moments with people from different countries and backgrounds, all coming together in these beautiful surroundings.

We’ve just finished our first retreat and are starting our Road Trip Retreat today.

Inspire & support people to connect to themselves, nature & community to live a life with more presence & ease. Denise & Chris are the founders of globeseekers and have dedicated their life’s to help people to have a higher level of health, consciousness & vitality. They are encouraging participants to enquirer into the possibilities of how they can have a more fulfilling life and supporting them in this with a variety of techniques, tools and inspiration.They have been working in a corporate environment before educating themselves in a variety of practices and through their own practice have changed the way they see things. It’s about accepting who you are and starting this ongoing journey to feel more free and healthy.Both have been teaching Yoga in classes, workshops and retreats since 2012 and mix up the different styles like Yin Yoga connected to Chinese Medicine, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Restorative Yoga during the globeseekers journeys.The different Yoga classes are complimented by a variety of other courses for the body & mind with Qi Gong, Embodiment Practice/Inner Directed Movement, Health Coaching, Thai Yoga Massage, Mindfulness Training, Yoga Nidra, guided Meditations & Acro Yoga.Wendy is the Communications & Guest Manager for globeseekers, a huge support by answering all questions patiently & with love.
