One of the highlights and picture opportunities of Willemstad, Curacao are the letters that spell the words 'Curacao' and 'Dushi'. From here it's a close walk to the 'Pontjesbrug' where you can cross the bridge to the district Otrabanda.

Otrabanda used to be the poorest part of Willemstad, but now you can find a lot of trendy restaurants and stores around here. And the view at the colored houses at the Handelskade is even prettier from here.

Even my own hometown has beautiful spots, like the 'Waalbrug'. And I just love these gorgeous evening colors. So romanti...

Are you into sweets? No problem, they have a lot of choice in muffins, cake, macaroons etc. Next to that there is free wifi so a perfect place if you don't feel like working from home or the office.

Wie ben ik?

Een online carrière, een passie voor reizen, liefde voor fotografie en de wil om alles uit het leven te halen zijn de ingrediënten die Digital Nomadness hebben gecreëerd. Na jarenlang in mijn kantoor te hebben gezeten vond ik het nu tijd om meer van mijn vrijheid te genieten. Niet door niets meer te doen, maar juist door hard werken te combineren met het ontdekken van al het moois dat de wereld te bieden heeft.

Ik ben Germaine, werk inmiddels freelance als copywriter en via mijn magazine en de community die we hier op FB hebben neem ik je mee in de wereld van digital nomads. Ik vertel je hoe je werken en reizen kan combineren en wat de beste plekken zijn waar je kunt werken. Ik laat wereldreizigers aan het woord, maar ook diegene met een toffe online carrière. Ook als je zelf geen digital nomad bent of wil worden maar gewoon van reizen houdt is het leuk en interessant om te blijven volgen.

In ons magazine vind je ook een overzicht van hotels, restaurants, barretjes etc. Heb je tips voor ons of ben je zelf eigenaar en wil je ook in onze lijsten komen te staan, dan kan je ons altijd even mailen met je gegevens en bijbehorende foto’s. Heb je ergens een locatie bezocht, geef op de site dan ook even een review zodat andere bezoekers weten wat ze te wachten staat. Naast de gebruikelijke en noodzakelijke informatie probeer ik je ook zoveel mogelijk authentieke plekken te laten zien die je niet zomaar in de reisgidsen vindt.
