🌊 Keeping the water in your cold plunge or hot tub clean is important to us so we have integrated an automated glass filter and UV light in all our units.

With our range of cleaners and stabilizers we offer very little amounts of chloride (less then 30% of what typically is used) and ensure that the water quality is always in top condition. This wayt your spa unit offers health benefits even for the most sensitive skin types.

🌊 What is the lifespan of a hot tub? Our hot tubs are made of marine gel coated inserts and high-quality wood so they should last 20 years or more if well maintained. This means cleaning the water with our cleaning kit and replacing the water every 3 months which can easily be done with the tap at the bottom.

🌿 How often can I use the sauna? Studies show that it is perfectly safe to use a sauna daily, but to achieve optimal health results we recommend to go in at least once a week. The more often you will use it, the more improvements you will experience.

Tip: don’t forget to stay hydrated during your sauna session.

🩵 For whom is the cold plunge or cold tub? Cold water therapy is mainly meant for healthy adults only. Athletes use ice baths after or before their workout, but it can also be used by non-athletes who want to do good to their bodies and enjoy the health benefits that come along with immersing yourself in cold / chilled water.

It is not advised to have kids doing cold water therapy as their developing bodies make them more vulnerable to extreme conditions.

⏺️ Why do our sauna’s have a barrel shape? This is because of better heat circulation as there are no corners then so that our sauna’s warm up faster and have a more consistent temperature.

If you choose for a sauna that has a square or rectangular shape then the heat will stay in the corners and won’t circulate well, so the temperature might be different in various areas and heating up will go slower.

So if you want an efficient sauna, then choose for a barrel shape and go for a good wood quality like our Ayous sauna’s!

❄ How long can you stay in a cold plunge or cold tub? For complete cold plunge beginners, you can develop your tolerance by taking a quick dip (30 seconds) or regular cold showers.

Cold water plunge sessions typically start with 30 seconds to 60 seconds. A good target time for a cold plunge is 3 minutes in the cold water. Eventually you will be able to add more time, but the most important thing is to listen to your body.

More experienced plunges will be able to take dips for 5 to 10 minutes at a time.

Both the interior and exterior of our sauna’s are made of the high quality Ayous wood that has all the preferred preferences for keeping your sauna warm and not moldy and it also looks great!
