Week 28: The Final Trimester Begins ✨

Welcome to the third trimester! At 28 weeks, your baby is about the size of an eggplant — around 37 cm long and weighing just over 1 kg. 🌱

Here’s what’s happening this week:

👶 Eyes wide open: Your baby can now open and close their eyes and may even blink in response to light.
🧠 Brain in action: Rapid brain development is underway. The brain’s grooves and folds are becoming more defined.
💖 Heartbeat: You can now hear the baby’s heartbeat clearly with a stethoscope!
🛡 Stronger immunity: Your baby is starting to receive antibodies from you, helping them build a stronger immune system.
💨 Practice breathing: Though there’s no air yet, your little one is practicing breathing movements by inhaling amniotic fluid.

You might be feeling more kicks, hiccups, and twists — all signs that your baby is growing stronger every day. 💫

This is a great time to start preparing emotionally and physically for the big day. Baby is getting ready — and so are you. 💕
