Our Natural Cork has a special Anti-microbial effect that kills bacteria on touching surface, therefore its Odorless and Sterilized. What makes our yoga mats special and unique, is the Physical Method of Hot Pressing Bonding. Cork layer (front side) and Natural Rubber layer (bac

k side) are bonding together by hot pressing process, without any chemical adhesive. Additionally, most of our mats have the perfect alignment guide, specially designed for Yogis that want to work on their foundation and deepen their practice.

Our Story

The Sakhya was founded by two friends that met end of 2017, at a 200h Yoga Teachers Training that took place at their homeland, Cyprus, a small island country in the Eastern Mediterranean. Both attended the YTT in order to deepen their practice, but as a bonus, a great friendship was born between them that day. In order to honor their friendship, they named their brand Sakhya. Sakhya is a Sanskrit term that can be translated into English as ‘friendship or companionship’.

We wanted to combine our passion for Yoga with innovated yoga products that could help us, our friends and everyone else stay connected to our everyday practice.
