If you want to know who I am professionally the answer would be yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, author and retreat organiser. But if you want to know who I am beneath those titles, the answer would be:

I am a human being, on a spirtual journey - and so are YOU! Depression, severe anxiety, self harming, self sabotage, wanting to end my life... I was 18 years old and totally lost. This is when yoga entered my life and over the next 10 years I have been building myself up. One day at a time, I kept choosing to fight for my life, I looked for light over dark and I'm so grateful that I am still here. Today I teach yoga and breathwork classes, online and in person and organise and run international retreats all over the world. My role is to gently remind you that you are the creator of your life. At any given moment you can rewrite the story, let go of your limited beliefs and choose to let your inner light shine! I look forward to seeing you in class or on a retreat. As you’ve probably figured out by now… I’m a mermaid.
I love the ocean, I love marine animals, and I love everything to do with water, depth, and the magic that lives beneath the surface.

For the past three years I’ve been swimming with dolphins, guiding retreats in Egypt, Bali and beyond — but next year, I am being called to go deeper. Literally… and metaphysically, too. 💙

In case you missed the memo:

Next October we’re going to Tonga to swim with humpback whales…
And then in December…We’re travelling to Mafia Island, Tanzania to swim with the gentle giants , the whale sharks. 🐋✨

But here’s the thing.

What makes the ocean experiences I create truly unique is that they are not about getting the perfect selfie with a dolphin or a whale shark.

They are about going DEEPER within yourself…

• Connecting with these magical beings in a state of reverence
• Awakening ancient wisdom inside your body
• Softening your nervous system
• Activating codes you didn’t even know were waiting

But today, I want to talk about whale sharks, because they have recently re-entered my life in the most unexpected way.

Earlier this year, while I was in Australia, I went out to swim with humpback whales. To my surprise, a whale shark appeared. Out of nowhere. The encounter was peaceful, calming, deeply grounding. I felt fully embodied in my human body, yet at the same time connected to something so much greater than myself.

In that moment, I knew I would be back. My time with the whale sharks wasn’t over... it was only beginning.

And as life beautifully does, the path of least resistance unfolded.

Karin, one of our dolphin retreat participants from April and I began talking about collaborating. The topic of whale sharks came up.
One thing led to another And before I knew it...

I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed. As I sit down to reflect, my heart feels so blessed, for all the travels, all the moments of magic, and all the beautiful souls I had the honour of meeting and guiding.

This year, we spent five incredible weeks with the dolphins, a sacred week in Bali, and another in the desert. And yes, our onboard chef Hassan is absolutely AMAZING! He even made this beautiful cake to celebrate our final day together just three weeks ago. 🐬🎂

Over 70 beautiful souls trusted me on their journey, and together we:

• swam with wild dolphins
• explored ancient Balinese temples
• shared fire ceremonies under the stars
• swam in mermaid tails in turquoise waters
• watched the sun rise and set over the Red Sea
• hugged, cried, laughed and healed together

LIFE UPDATE:

I’m writing to you from peaceful Dahab, a golden coastal town in Egypt that has wrapped itself around my heart.

These past months have stretched me in every direction. I’ve been on the road almost nonstop — Australia, Bali, Poland, and now four retreats in Egypt. Constant movement, new beds, new energies, new stories to hold. My spirit is strong, but my human body… she is tired. She is craving grounding in a deep, primal way. Now it’s time to go home, see my family, cuddle my dog, and remember what “normal life” even feels like.

And honestly… what is “normal” ? If 2025 has taught me anything, it’s to never take the surface level of things as truth.

In September, I lost a dear friend to su***de. Since then, three more people all of whom had been on retreat with me opened up and shared their struggles, telling me that they too often feel “hopeless”. These are people who, from the outside, seem to have it all: successful careers, beautiful marriages, luxurious travel, full lives. Yet beneath the mask, they are carrying sorrow, confusion, and a desperate longing to feel okay again.

When I shared my own truth with them, they were shocked.

They couldn’t believe that earlier this year I started therapy because my mind felt like it was spiralling downward and even basic tasks became hard.
They couldn’t believe it when I shared that ten years ago I overdosed and wanted to end my life.
They couldn’t believe it when I admitted that I still don’t have life “figured out.”

We are all more alike that you think... and here’s the thing: life isn’t meant to be figured out. It’s meant to be lived. To be experienced. To be felt.

Some seasons we rise into joy, love, expansion. Other seasons we descend into grief, uncertainty, and darkness. Both are part of the human journey.

What I love most about our retreat community is the raw vulnerability so many of you bring. Some quietly, some openly but always with courage. When stories are shared in a safe space, shame dissolves, connection deepens, and true healing becomes possible. We realise we are not alone. We never were.

Over the last couple of months, my email list and number of followers has increased and I’d love to share my story with those who are new and maybe share new pieces of me for those who have been here for years. My hope is that somewhere within my story, you’ll recognise parts of your own.

My journey with yoga began back in 2018 (see picture below) I was in my first year of university studying film production, struggling with anxiety and depression. My mind felt heavy, my heart disconnected. Someone suggested I try a yoga class, and that single class changed my life. For the first time, I felt my breath. I felt my body. I felt peace.

Maybe you’ve had a moment like that too, a moment where something simple shifted everything, where a spark of light broke through the noise and reminded you that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

After I graduated, I followed that calling to India to complete my yoga teacher training. It wasn’t easy. I fell sick, I doubted myself, I nearly gave up. But deep down, I knew I was being guided somewhere greater than I could yet see.

When I returned home, I trusted that pull and hosted my first retreat in Spain in 2019. Five women came. We began as strangers, and by the end of the week, we were family. Each of us softened. We laughed, cried, shared, breathed, and remembered who we truly were beneath the noise of life. That’s when I realised this is why I’m here. To help others come home to themselves.

And maybe that’s something your soul has been longing for too, a chance to pause, to reconnect, to feel lighter, clearer, and more like you again.

Of course, the path wasn’t always easy. When I first started hosting retreats at 23, I often battled imposter syndrome. I wondered if I was ready to hold space for people older, wiser, more experienced. Over time, I learned that wisdom isn’t measured in years but in how deeply we’ve felt and how much we’ve healed. The challenges of my own childhood, moving countries at eight, and learning to find my place in the world taught me empathy, resilience, and strength. They shaped me into who I am today.

And yet, I’m still evolving, just like you.

In 2023, when I hosted my first retreat in Sataya and swam with the dolphins, something within me shifted completely. The connection, the stillness, the love, it was like coming home again. That’s when I understood that my work is not only about yoga but about helping others remember their essence through nature, through presence, through sacred connection.

Maybe as you read this, you’re remembering how far you’ve come too, the mountains you’ve climbed, the storms you’ve weathered, the times you’ve risen when you didn’t think you could.

This waterfall was pure POWER. Those of us who had the courage to stand beneath her felt the air swirling all around us. It was surreal, wild, and awakened something ancient within. She reminded us that whether we like it or not, life moves forward, and the flow of life energy continues. There is always a fresh current behind us, bringing everything we need and carrying away the old — the cycle of life in motion.

Coming out of the waterfall, you emerged energized, alive, and ready to conquer the world. It was the wake-up call many of us need — to follow your heart, to be brave, and to be wild, whatever that means to you.

As Clarissa Pinkola Estés writes in Women Who Run With the Wolves:
