Long before chiropractic and osteopathy were developed, bonesetting was practiced throughout Europe as a practical healing skill. It emerged from everyday necessity — injuries from work, falls, training, or the battlefield had to be treated directly and effectively.
In this year’s training in Prague (July 27–31, 2026), Kolbjorn Martens, DC, will teach elements of this traditional system known as Mått. The focus is on simple, precise, and effective techniques that can complement the work of experienced bodyworkers and therapists.
At the same time, the training offers an opportunity to reconnect with older European approaches to healing, where structural work, breath, and energetic awareness were understood as part of one integrated practice.
