🤗 Máme skvělou zprávu z Carebotu! Navštívila nás TV Nova a natočila reportáž o tom, jak naše umělá inteligence pomáhá ve zdravotnictví.

🩻 V rámci nové studie, kterou jsme dělali společně s předními českými radiology, jsme zjistili, že kdyby měli juniorní radiologové k dispozici naši AI, mohli by mít až o 50 % lepší výsledky při odhalování některých plicních onemocnění na rentgenech.

🎧 Carebot on podcast Životozprávy by Pilulka.

🤖 The digitalization of healthcare, artificial intelligence, cancer prevention and obtaining medical device certification were all heard in 30 minutes of the healthcare podcast by +Pilulka.

🏥 Daniel also talked about how image evaluation is done and how Carebot's AI CXR software is helping doctors and mentioned a curious case of a "mammilla" that happened recently in a hospital.

🔍 An object so small that it was thought to be a mammilla to the medical eye, but in fact it was a tiny lesion that could also be a possible lung cancer.

💙 The safely implemented AI helps in reading even the least legible images and gives the doctor a helping hand on busy days.

🔊 We have published a new study looking at the success rate of mammography assessments.

💡 Daniel Kvak and his team of Marek Biroš, Jakub Dandár, Anora Atakhanova and Robert Hruby compared AI results with five independent radiologists.

The evaluation included assessment of breast tissue density according to BI-RADS. The evaluated images came from different mammography machines (GE, Siemens, Hologic) to ensure that the system would behave the same at all sites.

❓What was the result?
When evaluating densities, our system performed better than 4 of the 5 radiologists compared. The aim of the study was to objectify the assessment of densities at different sites and also different devices.

🤖 👩‍⚕️ However, it is still true that the best results are achieved by AI together with the physician only.

🔊 Vydali jsme novou studii, která se zabývá úspěšností hodnocení mamografických snímků.

💡 Daniel Kvak a jeho tým ve složení Marek Biroš, Jakub Dandár, Anora Atakhanova a Robert Hrubý srovnával výsledky AI s pěti nezávislými radiology.

Hodnocení zahrnovalo hodnocení denzity prsní tkáně dle BI-RADS. Hodnocené snímky pocházely z různých mamografických přístrojů (GE, Siemens, Hologic), aby bylo zaručeno, že systém se bude chovat stejně na všech pracovištích.

❓Jaký byl výsledek?
Při hodnocení denzity náš systém dosáhl lepších výsledů než 4 z 5 srovnávaných radiologů. Cílem studie byla objektivizace hodnocení denzity na různých pracovištích a také různých přístrojích.

🤖 👩‍⚕️ Stále ale platí, že nejlepších výsledků dosáhne AI společně pouze s lékařem.

💡One of the chiefs in the radiology department asked us an interesting question.
He wondered if our Carebot AI CXR system would always evaluate the same image in the same way.

🤖 The answer is YES.
Our Carebot AI CXR software uses pre-trained algorithms that have been validated during medical device certification.

❓What does this mean?
That the results of our algorithm always remain the same when the same image is sent.

✔ To confirm that the results of the AI evaluation remain constant, we also prepared a small test.
In this test, we applied our algorithm to a specific image of a patient, changed the output language, and re-ran our system. The result was always the same.

💡Primář z radiologického oddělení se nás zeptal na zajímavou otázku.
Přemýšlel nad tím, zda náš systém Carebot AI CXR vyhodnotí stejný snímek vždy stejně.

🤖 Odpověď je ano.
Software Carebot AI CXR využívá předem natrénované algoritmy, které byly ověřeny během certifikace zdravotnického prostředku.

❓Co to znamená?
Že výsledky našeho algoritmu zůstávají při zaslání stejného snímku vždy stejné.

✔ Abychom potvrdili, že výsledky hodnocení AI zůstávají neměnné, připravili jsme i malou zkoušku.
V tomto testu jsme použili náš algoritmus na konkrétní snímek pacienta, změnili jazyk výstupu a znovu provedli hodnocení naším systémem. Výsledek byl vždy stejný.

🇨🇿 🇭🇺 Not only representatives of Czech and Hungarian companies, but also doctors and hospital representatives gathered at the Czech Embassy to discuss the topic of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

🤖 The safe introduction of AI requires cooperation between all parties - the state, the commercial sector, hospitals and doctors, and thanks to the two days spent in Budapest, this topic of digitalization of healthcare is once again closer.

🚀 A következő nap Magyarországon ismét sűrű programunk volt.

🇨🇿 🇭🇺 Nemcsak cseh és magyar vállalatok képviselői, hanem orvosok és kórházak képviselői is összegyűltek a cseh nagykövetségen, hogy megvitassák a mesterséges intelligencia témáját az egészségügyben.

🤖 A mesterséges intelligencia biztonságos bevezetéséhez minden fél - az állam, a kereskedelmi szektor, a kórházak és az orvosok - együttműködésére van szükség, és a Budapesten töltött két napnak köszönhetően az egészségügy digitalizációjának ez a témája ismét közelebb került.

👨‍🎓 Harvard Medical School vs. Carebot

🚀 Our CEO Daniel Kvak was approached by Harvard Medical School to comment on the benefits and limitations of deploying AI in medical practice. 👏

As a recent participant in the HMS Designing and Implementing AI Solutions for Health Care program, Daniel shares his insights and thoughts on the potential of AI to improve clinical practice and outcomes after graduating.

🤖 In the interview, he also mentions the need to understand the clinical implications of AI alongside computational operations.
