Johanna Weidenhausen Yoga Yoga Studio I discovered my passion for yoga in Sydney in 2010, and I have been practicing almost everyday ever since.

The focus in my yoga classes is on the development of a positive body awareness through a dynamic and powerful Ashtanga practice – to sense one’s own body in entirely new and subtle ways – and how this sense of awareness within our bodies effects our lives. In my yoga classes I am teaching the students 'the Primary Ashtanga Series of Ashtanga Yoga .' I am guiding them through their breathing, focussing on body alignment and 'hands on’ for corrections. For me yoga means cultivating a mindful way of treating ourselves, seizing the day stress-free, taking on the challenges that life brings with bravery and strength, and fully experiencing each moment – being present in the here and now. As well as teaching yoga, I also work as a physiotherapist in Berlin. I teach yoga classes in both German and English. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2017 with Rocky Heron at the YogaCircleAkademie in Berlin, after having completed my professional Physiotherapy education 2013-2017 in Leipzig. I taught yoga alongside my Physiotherapy training, and I visited various workshops in Thai Yoga Massage with Falko Kretschmer, as well as Yoga Workshops with Michael Stewart, where I met my inspirational yoga teachers Michael Stewart, Rocky Heron, and others, whom I thank wholeheartedly. 200h certified Yoga Alliance and BDY Yoga Teacher at YogaCircleAcademie Berlin.

I am back in berlin from mysore, india practicing 2 months with guruji sharat jois. In my spirit are new inspirations, stability, steadiness and more knowledge and dedication to yoga❤ I am so thankful for all experiences I have made the last months, and the yoga community in india I 've met during traveling, I am so thankful that I could practice with sharat jois 🍀💍

Unsere Geschichte

The focus in my yoga classes is physical aligned in vinyasa which means moving and breathing at the same time and to strengthen and stretch the body which leads to more flexibility and well being. Another effect through my dynamic and powerful yoga asana (postures) classes is that you are cultivating through a regular and continuous yoga practise a better and more subtle and positive connection to your body awareness. You might experience a new journey in your life.

This includes on one side that you will sense your own body in entirely new and subtle ways – and how this sense of awareness within your body effects your conscious in life, how you get healthier and how you control the fluctuation of thoughts and how you yourself think mindfully, peacefully and serene.

In my yoga classes I am teaching Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Flow. For me personal yoga means cultivating a lifestyle in well - being, transforming life towards acting intuitive and serene with compassion and that I am living a healthier life and that I do my best to manage the day and taking on the challenges that life brings with bravery and strength. I discovered my dedication and devotion for yoga in Sydney in Australia in my early twenties, and I have been practicing regular since then. Besides teaching Yoga, I also work as a physiotherapist, Personal Trainer and Personal Coach.
