Almost exactly 20 years ago, in March 2005, the Gefühlsmonster Cards made their first big appearance at DIDACTA in Stuttgart! A lot has happened since then - the monsters have been further developed, the company and the academy have been founded - and now we are proudly celebrating our 20th anniversary! 🥳

We are part of WEConnect!

We as Gefühlsmonsters and as a German woman-owned business have proudly been accepted into the global network WEConnect (), a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for women-owned businesses by connecting them with buyers in the global marketplace. 🌏

And we will be part of the European Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Conference taking place next week from 23 to 25 September 2024 at Disneyland Paris. Not only will this give us the opportunity to network with like-minded women from across the world, but we have also been invited to present Gefühlsmonsters in the Marketplace and Experience Lounge at Newport Bay Club where everybody will have the chance to experience the Gefühlsmonsters up close and personal and meet with our founder and CEO Lilli Höch-Corona.

For us, the WEConnect conference and network is a chance to connect with potential cooperation partners across the world so that many more people can benefit from easier and more empathetic conversations with the Gefühlsmonster® Cards.

We have all been working very hard over the past few months to prepare for and successfully master the rigorous vetting process to become a member of WEConnect and to get ready for our participation at the conference next week and we hope to bring back a suitcase full of great memories and interesting contacts. Today, our trainer from the Gefühlsmonster Academy, Alina Juch, tells you about her work at a center for young people with mental disabilities in Rwanda:“Since March 2024, the Gefühlsmonsters – or “the friends”, as they are known locally – have moved into the A.V.E.H. Umurerwa center in Nyamata, Rwanda. Around 20 children, teenagers and young adults with mental disabilities live at the center. In addition, A.V.E.H Umurerwa is in contact with 94 families who have a child with mental disabilities and live in Nyamata and the surrounding area. Depending on where they live, these families are organized into parent groups that strengthen themselves both psychosocially and economically.In March 2024, Alina offered an impulse session for the six educators and the local Inclusive Education teacher. Alina has been friends with the director of the center, Cécile UMUNYANA, for several years. They had lots of fun getting to know the cards (the “25 new friends”). Alina: “The cards simply invite interaction and exchange. What’s more, the teachers at the A.V.E.H Umurerwa center know how to play.” They immediately thought about which cards would suit which child/employee at the center and why – they acted out postures and discussed the feelings behind some of the cards. Accompanied by further practical, guided games, an attitude was conveyed when using the cards that provides space for exchange, creativity and development.The final question as to whether “the friends” should move into the center was answered with a clear “Yes!”.The children, teenagers and young adults are currently playing a lot with the cards (poster, mini card set and card set A4) – talking to them, choosing their feelings, becoming aware of feelings in their bodies and sorting the cards into different categories. In this way, feelings are perceived with a new lightness and joy.”This report has warmed our ♥️♥️. We hope that many more people around the world will encounter the Gefühlsmonster-Method and that it will bring happiness to their lives.

📦The Gefühlsmonsters are once again traveling to Ukraine ...🇺🇦

Those of you who have been following us here for a while will remember that,
since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we have been in regular contact with a team of psychologists led by Tanya Zhuravel and have been able to support them with an online training course on how to use the Gefühlsmonsters and with several parcels containing Gefühlsmonster materials.❤️

Ukraine has now been in a state of war for over two years. Two years that have had a lasting impact on the people and the country. Two years in which a generation of children is growing up in which the wailing of sirens and vigilance are still part of everyday life for many. Just like fathers who are absent and mothers who have to keep work and family life together during the war. What Tanya and her team are doing in this situation cannot be overestimated! You are simply amazing❗️

Our donation, which went on its way today, this time includes our cuddly and colorful Gefühlsmonster blankets and 200 mini posters. We hope they will bring color and a touch of lightness into the everyday lives of as many children (and adults) as possible and perhaps “incidentally” encourage them to talk a little about everything that is currently on their minds.

For this year's at the end of March we proudly joined the campaign of , which had called to symbolically celebrate team spirit, community and diversity by creating a puzzle together. Because it is the individual strengths, talents and abilities of each individual that make the big picture great.

We in the Gefühlsmonster team have joyfully been crafting and designing the puzzle. Did you know that in addition to our permanent core team, more than 10 freelancers support our work at Gefühlsmonster headquarters? Whether as trainers, in shipping, marketing, IT or here on social media, we are colorful and diverse, just like the Gefühlsmonsters. And the puzzle is only complete with ALL of us.
