This Substack piece was hard to write, because it’s hard to know how deep to go without being personally involved.
But Deepak Chopra’s inclusion in the Epstein files made me angry and I want us to keep us talking and discerning.

A reminder that our yoga or wellness bubble is far from pure.

ALIGN: a 20hr training for teachers , November 6-8th, 2026

Where form meets inner work, giving teachers:

• the knowledge to lead students into postures with a safe and adaptive approach to alignment

• the tools of svadhyaya, self study, so that our teaching aligns with our truth

• intelligence in teaching - an understanding that an advanced class does not mean a room full of people contorting or inverting…

• but with a scientific approach to form and alignment, trust that many of the asanas can be adapted to the needs of the student, from beginners to advanced

• a deep connection to how we hold space, which is the key to growth.

1. Leaving this to -4 degrees in Berlin feels easier when I feel most at ease when teaching.

Not a gratitude or ‘25 recap post: instead declaring that
2026 will be the year of
SOAKING IT ALL IN 💧.

It will be the year of feeling the restlessness beneath the joy
and remembering what truly matters,
something I could have done more of in 2025.

Call it a mantra, a NY intention, a wish, but I’ll build upon this idea both in my offerings and inner world this year.

To those I’ve had the privilege of connecting with - near or far - in class, in training, or on retreat, thank you.
So looking forward to the new year ahead.
