free. No contracts, but freedom: our drop-in system allows you to practice yoga whenever you want. Prices pay respect to varying financial backgrounds and they rely on the honesty of each yogi. Teachers are well-trained professionals with many years of expertise. We pay them fair wages. international. tolerant. communitarian. Our yoga teachers come from all over the world, and so do our yogis. Yoga is taught in different languages so everyone can join. family-like. We know each other. We get to know each other even better through intensive challenges, workshops and retreats. 🌻Enjoy spring with us on a 5-day/4-night retreat at our yellow yoga retreat location Gebhardshütte in the deep forest of Odenwald, about 1 hour from Heidelberg.

You are accompanied by 2 of our regular yellow yoga teachers, Anna and Victoria, who will lovingly support you with their experience and hold various vinyasa, hatha, yin and restorative yoga classes each day.

Besides yoga, the forest retreats have many other wonderful things on offer: breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation, sound journeys and massages, talking and singing circles, sauna and campfires!

Retreat time is a time for transformation and (self-)healing, a time to recharge your batteries, a time for yourself – and a time together, in a wonderful community.

Discover why fascia matters, what it is and how to take care of it and by extension your whole being, by tweaking your yoga practice and adding small exercises into daily life. And you won’t even need special equipment. Yet, this kind of modified yoga practice can do wonders for those stubborn areas of tension and discomfort!

Over the last 15 years science has shown how central fascia is to our well-being from mobility to the immune system, or emotional states, as well as the key role it plays in sensory perception and awareness. These discoveries help us understand koshas, chakras and the meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine in a new light. In fact, diving into the world of fascia is like stepping into a magical realm of possibilities, opening up simple, practical and deeply impactful ways to deepen your connection with your body and the world around, to tap into your own healing power and experience the state of union that is yoga.

Each week will be dedicated to an area of the body, moving in specific ways to help you explore where potential discomfort in the area comes from and how to shift it.

– Fascia for the middle and lower spine/diaphragm.
– Fascia for the hips/pelvis/legs.

Join us for a special workshop dedicated to the art and joy of inversions. We’ll explore why these poses are so powerful — physically, mentally, and energetically — and how they can bring balance, strength, and playfulness into your practice.

How do we stand on our head in a stable and relaxed way? – BKS Iyengar says: “If you don’t know how to do Tadasana, you don’t know how to do Sirsasana at all.”

This reminds us that every advanced posture is rooted in the fundamentals. Through a carefully structured and well-grounded sequence, you’ll be guided step by step from preparatory postures that build confidence and stability, all the way to more challenging inversions such as headstand and beyond.

Have you ever wanted to master an advanced inversion like Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana) or Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana)?

Or are you just starting out and would like to build a solid foundation and the confidence to lift your feet off the ground for the very first time?

This year we are organising three 5-6 day yoga retreats at the yellow yoga forest house in beautiful Odenwald, each led by two experienced teachers, in May, July & August!

The retreat program includes a variety of yoga styles to explore – from vinyasa and ashtanga to kundalini as well as yin and restorative yoga. In addition to yoga, we offer many other wonderful activities: breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation, sound journeys and massages, sharing and singing circles, campfires, communal cooking, and hiking trips to the swimming lake!

This postnatal yoga class is designed for new mothers who wish to reconnect with their bodies after giving birth. The gentle yoga practice supports your recovery, helps your body’s natural healing process, and guides you to regain strength and a sense of grounding.

Together, we’ll mindfully strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles in a safe, structured way. We’ll also focus on supporting your back and legs to create more stability, ease, and fresh energy for everyday life with your baby. The class is thoughtfully designed and no previous yoga experience is needed. 

Your baby is warmly welcome to join you in class. Whether your little one is sleeping, feeding, observing, or exploring the room – everything is perfectly fine. The atmosphere is relaxed and understanding, allowing you to pause, care for your baby, and continue in your own rhythm whenever you’re ready.

You can start postnatal yoga from around 8 weeks after birth, alongside your recovery program or anytime afterward.
