Samhain walk through

Taking notice of all the unearthed trees that have fallen during this season or from winter storms long ago.

What does it feel like to be half in the ground and half untethered from the world?

How is it to be unearthed?

I have been walking daily, giving gratitude for the many realms, many places and the many hearts that have witnessed my journey.

I imagine, my ancestors walking along side of me, catching my eye to things I might have missed and whispering their messages from the mighty winds and soiled seeds of promises they have kept close until my feet could listen.

I am so grateful to be here, now and to be walking in this world with both the seen and unseen and give thanks to all that was, is and will be.

Tonight, we came to the final wave of Scoil Scarite and what feels like a new beginning of deepening into the language of place, the stories of the land and the ancestors in our bones.

Blessings to Kathy Scott, Manchán Magan and all the souls of this magical journey.

Into the Mist, we walked with ancestors and the spirits of this landscape.

Together….us maidens, mothers and crones took our steps toward an inner journey to meet ourselves, our bodies and to reconnect with all that holds us.

Go well Manchán Magan

What a gift to be among the mighty many on the Hill of Uisneach to honor and gather with his wider community on November 1st…all souls day.

All the elements were there first greeted by cailleach (hail) and as the ceremony began the blazing ghrian (sun) came shinning.

As his ashes were landed upon the land, a sea of humming came from all the hearts that gathered to be an electrical field of bees, feeling the ancient ones rise underneath to get him, to welcome us while a double tuar ceatha (rainbow) cast across the sky….leading us to the other world.

And now….who will continue this work? All of here? All of us now? Now we only have to listen to our blessed ancestor and remember and revive the ancient ways of time.

It was amazing to be part of 2025 parade as an honorary dancing snake. A mighty snaky crew of 30 from both Galway and Dublin danced through the streets of Galway last night. A truly once in a life time experience to be part of this artistic master storytellers!

Last night I started the Scoil Scairte series with Trailblazery, a brilliant collaboration with Kathy Scott, Seosamh Mac Seoin and on the initiation of embodying the Irish Languange, landscapes and myths.

Kathy had shared that Manchán wasn’t able to join us for our opening circle due to not feeling well…

Now today waking up to the winds of change as he leaves this world.

What a legacy he has left behind, what a blazing trail he has called us on and what a profound grief to have him no longer with us on this landscape.

Imagining now the vast waves moving through the hearts of many, as he walks to the other world leaving behind his words, images, and stories.

Another year around the sun, on this magnificent earth 🌀

I have returned home to Galway and was met by the wild, witchy winds of the Cailleach to beseech me on my deepening journey.

Life has been a series of miracles to allow me to arrive here today.

I am forever grateful for all the choices, mistakes, regrets, heartaches and joyous return to the magic that dwells in everything.
