When we were asked to produce one, we wanted to create a diaper that could go into the baby diaper aisle, thus making all kids at heart, and their caregivers, happier. When it comes to diapers, more diaper equals more absorbency equals no leaks or wet pants. That means your little one may have a bulky bottom with their Crinklz diaper on, but you will have peace of mind that there won’t be any leaks.

Since you liked the Aquanaut PSA so much, we actually did it - so you don’t have to. 😄
The Crinklz Aquanaut took a dip… and looked like a marshmallow submarine!
It was completely waterlogged and super squishy in under two minutes, tipping the scales at well over 3 kg (6.5 lbs).
Unless you’re roleplaying a beach-ball-bummed baby, it’s best to keep them dry on the outside! 😉

Just because they’ve got waves on them doesn’t mean they belong in the pool.
Crinklz Aquanauts are landlubbers: adorable, absorbent, and definitely not made for splashing, unless you're wearing a drysuit.

Sometimes our work goes beyond products and logistics.
Recently, a caregiver and customer wrote to us about a young girl whom they invited to Disney World but she almost declined because of protection worries.
She was afraid of leaks, of being laughed at, even of hotel and park staff noticing. Her friend (also a long-time BetterDry wearer) helped her build confidence step by step.
We were asked if we could share a note of encouragement. So we did.
We told her that many of us have walked the same path. That needing protection doesn’t define who you are. That you can still do every magical, exciting, bold thing just like someone who wears glasses or needs a hand to hold.
Because dignity matters. Compassion matters. And sometimes a kind word at the right time means more than any product ever could.

✨ Say hello to the magic behind Crinklz adult diapers: Sodium Acrylate Monomer! 🧬

This tiny molecule is the superhero of superabsorbents — it can soak up:
🌊 300x its weight in distilled water
🚿 Around 100x in tap water
🚽 And about 60x in p*e (because of those tricky salts!)

Why the difference? Salts and ions in tap water and urine compete with the monomer for water — like little bullies hogging all the fun! 😅

The terms "nappy" and "diaper" are often used interchangeably – one being predominantly used in British English, and the other in American English. The word "nappy" is a British English term derived from the old term "baby's napkin." "Napkin" comes from the Old French word "small nappe". Nappe or Old French nape is a term for a tablecloth. That makes the word really old.

What about "diaper"? Some new-fangled American invention, surely? Well, no. The word "diaper" goes back at least as far as nappy. It’s derived from the Old French word “diaspre” meaning a white cloth from the mysterious East – from Byzantine Constantinople (Bizantine Greek “diaspros”). Even Shakespeare uses the word diaper in “The Taming of the Shrew”, believed to have been written between 1590 and 1592. In Britain, the word died out and now the word diaper is thought of as an Americanism.
