Each tooth a tiny landscape that deserves a gentle care.
Step by step, layer by layer, until the balance feels just right.
No rush, no overworking — just letting nature guide the light.

Dentistry humbles you; it teaches patience every day.
It shows you that small changes often speak in the biggest way.
And when a tooth looks natural again, calm and clean and true —
You feel grateful for the craft, and for what your hands can do.

A simple case, a quiet win — nothing more and nothing less.
But these are the moments that remind me why I love this process.
Not perfection. Not a spectacle.
Just honest work that lets a smile breathe again.

Only for the brave.
Single central with discoloration. Patient came with the Provisional.
After cleaning and rebuilding I used the copy function of my Cerec.
Did you know, it works so good? 👌

One of my favorite movies. 😉

But it fits perfectly for dentistry.
You know: Everyone wants to be a “digital dentist” these days.

3D printers, scanners, guided surgery, AI, smile design…

And every wholesaler promises the same thing:
“Your patients will feel good.”

But let’s be honest — going digital doesn’t automatically make you a better dentist.
It just makes your mistakes easier to document in HD.

Digital dentistry isn’t a shortcut.

✅ It’s a mirror.
✅ It shows how much (or how little) you actually understand about what you’re doing.

And yes — the transition can be rough:

❌ Your scanner crashes.
❌ The margins don’t align.
❌ You over-trim your first design.
❌ Your milling unit decides to retire mid-job.

And yet — this is the price of progress.

Because being a “digital dentist” doesn’t mean you buy gadgets.

It means you build systems.

✅ You understand workflow.
✅ You control data.
✅ You design precision.
✅ You reduce variables.
And: you stay humble enough to still check your contacts with floss.

So laugh about it.
Because every digital dentist has been that analogue dentist once —
the one crawling back to the lab after his first intraoral scan. 😉

I think I really need to improve my posteriores 😬.
Pictures always help me to See where there is room for Improving my skills as a dentist.

Dreams don’t just come true.

They demand work. Precision. Consistency.
They demand sacrifice — and the willingness to stay obsessed long after the excitement fades.

Dentistry has changed more in the last ten years than in the fifty before.
AI, scanners, guided surgeries, smile design software — it’s all there.
But here’s the thing:
None of these tools will make you a better dentist if you don’t understand the basics first.

You can’t hide a lack of understanding behind a digital workflow.
You still need to know:
– where to cut,
– how much to reduce,
– where to position your implant,
– how to respect biology.

Digital dentistry isn’t replacing fundamentals.
It’s revealing who actually understands them.

So here’s my advice if you’re building your dream in dentistry:
📌 Learn analog first — master your hands before your scanner.

📌 Study anatomy, occlusion, and tissue response until it’s second nature.

📌 Use technology as a tool, not as a crutch.

📌 Build workflows that serve your clinical mind, not the other way around.

📌 And never stop learning — because this profession rewards the ones who keep evolving.

Dreams don’t come true because you wish for them.
They come true because you’re willing to build them — one millimeter, one decision, one scan 😉 at a time.
