many people ask me - what am I doing in India and why I am continuesly going there?
Since 2005, travelling first time to India, I direct was in bliss being there.
During that time It was much more chaotic unstructured than nowadays - people living and cooking on the street, cows, pigs, chicken passing, no proper road, more Rikshaws than cars,...
Some friends of the Hare Krishna movement made me a routemap for places to visit.
I direct went to Vrindavan and had the feeling "I lost my heart in Vrindavan". At the end I ended up in Rishikesh at Bombay Guest House with 30, 40 travellers singing Bhajans all night long and enjoying the dips in the Ganga during daytime.
Until now I spent about 8 years all together (within 20 years) living in this magnificent country - which, from my perspective, is a direct possibility to connect with the divine. 🙏 Hari 🙌
Sure, there is much more in this amazing country (e.g. all climatical zones, luxury next to poverty, etc.) and in the end, you get what you are searching - in the present moment being there... 😊 Anyway, the spiritual aspect indeed was/is one of my main reasons going there.
Here is a little inview of my seva (service), I do daily when I am at my friends Angan - a pilgrimage place, where various groups of people, mostly from the north and eastern regions of India, come to experience the holy dham and connect with the divine.
Morningtime I do my Yoga, Puja, Meditation and in the evenings I sit and sing for few hours at the deities of the Temple - not to entertain, just to connect to Radha and Krishna through the holy name via sound.
Everyday/-time different people, single pilgrims, couples, families, groups, communities...
All is changing, all is in the flow.
Some are listening, some come for Darshan (literally meaning 'to be seen') some stay and chant and dance with me, too.
In a way - everyday the same lyrics and still everytime different - what the divine showers upon me, full in surrender... ❤
