A slideshow of the last 2 months, where we welcomed our littlest addition to the family, bought a house, let myself be taken care of during postpartum from loving family and friends, enjoyed nourishing foods, celebrated my birthday with a simple (yet mega delish👌🏼) cake, finally got out in the ☀️ for walks, and just being grateful for the arrival of spring. Words simply cannot describe how extremely blessed we are feeling for the answers to our prayers that have been long awaited for. 🙌🏼🌸🏡

I'm thankful to have had a little pause from this work, but now I'm ready to make a slow return as I feel it fits with this new season of life. Let's see where it goes. 🌱🤗

Spend the weekend in the Black Forest diving into natural cosmetics and taking forest baths in-between. 🌲 This might not be everyone's definition of a wellness weekend but it was definitely mine after more than 2 years always having a little by my side. We touched on natural fats, essential oils, and correct mixing techniques with of course, a day of hands-on practice. It was incredible to be around such like-minded, wonderful women while learning more about my passions. ✨

Now, I would like to share a little bit about myself, the heart and soul behind HeilSamen. My name is Sarah and I live just outside of Berlin in Germany with my man and little man (almost 2-year old). After 2 years at a christian naturopathy school, I have now become certified as a health consultant and created HeilSamen to share all I have learned. HeilSamen is a bit of a wordplay in German and means “healing seeds”. Not only are seeds an image for growth and healing, but they are also the source of our food which is capable of healing. This inspiration comes from the true Gardener who created these food sources and medicinal herbs to heal body, spirit, and soul. HeilSamen is combines these virtues as well as my passions for cooking, natural living, and gardening.

🇩🇪 Nun möchte ich ein wenig über mich selbst erzählen, die Herzensfrau hinter HeilSamen. Mein Name ist Sarah und ich lebe mit meinem Mann und meinem kleinen Sohn (fast 2 Jahre alt) etwas außerhalb von Berlin in Deutschland. Nach zwei Jahren an einer christlichen Naturheilkundeschule habe ich mich als Gesundheitsberaterin zertifizieren lassen und HeilSamen gegründet, um all das weiterzugeben, was ich gelernt habe. HeilSamen ist ein kleines Wortspiel im Deutschen und bedeutet „heilende Samen”. Samen stehen nicht nur für Wachstum, sondern sind auch die Quelle unserer Nahrung, die heilende Kräfte hat. Diese Inspiration stammt vom wahren Gärtner, der diese Nahrungsquellen und Heilkräuter geschaffen hat, um Körper, Geist und Seele zu heilen. HeilSamen vereint diese Werte sowie meine Leidenschaft für das Kochen, ein natürliches Leben und die Gartenarbeit.
