Police have named the prime suspect in the murder of three siblings in Juba. Twenty-four-year-old Babu Emmanuel Lokiri, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Juba was arrested yesterday in Rock City.
Updating the media in Juba this afternoon, Inspector General of Police General, Majak Akech said Lokiri is a relative of the three sisters and was found in the possession of incriminating evidence including clothes stained with blood and some pangas or machetes.
IGP Akech says the other 16 suspects have been released and will be called on, if need be, to help with investigations. The girls aged 9,7 and 4 years were murdered in cold blood at their home in Rock City on the 1st of this month.
