Large frame, small frame and so on is not about the size of ones stance or the extension of the limbs. A more accurate naming would be large circle frame and small circle frame. The key point is the size of the connecting circles generated through the silk body. These circles are large and simple in the large frame and small and complex in the small frame. In neither case are they an application method, they are training method to build Qi and specific connections and roads of power. Application is direct and simple, the training having been done, the silk body transformed allows the Qi to mobilize through the trained “circles” internally to express the various Jins externally.

During six days of intensive training in Prague, Sifu Adam Mizner gave us profound instruction and led us into new challenges, with much focus on opening the body. Our training consisted of two sessions each day—one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
