Today I am a certified nutritionist, fasting coach and phytotherapist.
In Summer 2015, I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. The doctors immediately pushed me into chemo therapy and after 4 rounds of chemo, I stopped and never went back there.
Then I went on the natural route.I did first the Gerson protocol, however I could not do the juices every hour - this was a bit too difficult - but for 3 months I did green juicing and coffee enemas. I took a lot of supplements: curcumin as tablets and spice, frankinscense (boswellia serrata) as tablets and pure from the orient, B17 as in bitter apricot kernels, multiminerals, Vit. C, selenium, zink, idodine in the form of Lugol’s solution, high dosages of vitamin D3 and Omega 3 in the form of linseed oil, PPQ, brassica, Indole 3 carbinol, and lots of fresh (bitter) herbs from my garden as well as kale from my garden. Most of the supplements I take as a course of 6-9 weeks and then alternate.
The tumor had shrunk half in size in September 2016. In January 2016 the tumor was gone, I refused an operation to have the surrounding tissue removed. I became less and less strict with the diet and my eating habbits and by the beginning of 2017 the tumor was back full force.
I fasted twice on water and tea (21 days) and in spring 42 days (the complete Breuss protocoll) with daily enemas. Fasting is these days my protocol to go to encourage healing and autophagy - the cannibalisation of body tissue and proteins by the body.
A little panicked, I would switch back and forth from a vegan/vegetarian diet to ketogenic diet, because I was never quite sure and still am unsure, there a lots of scientific reasons for either way. I adore Dr. Seyfried and all his reasearch (or Dr. Longo) and I also trust Dr. Gerson and Dr. Budwig with the Vegetarian almost vegan way. My gut tells me after two years to go with a vegetarian ketongenic diet, moderatly Gerson, lots of raw veggies, not too many sugary fruits. This is how I feel and function best. However, it is not always easy to stick to this. Whenever I diverse - birthdays, parties eg. - I sometimes slip up so badly either with cake, bread, pasta, pizza, red whine, cheese and the like. So it could sometimes take weeks to get back into the protocol. Emotional stress will do the rest to fall of the trail. Which was the case for me after a difficult divorce and financial stress. Was I surprised that the tumor came back? No, not really.
After I had eliminated the “outside cancers” (divorce, wrong job, wrong friends), I decided to have an operation to remove the inside lump. I had my right breast tissue completely removed in September 2017 and replaced with silicone. So far, I have the all clear. No bone cancer or any metastasis. As I am writing this in spring 2019, I am still fine. In the meantime I have become a certified phytotherapist, nutrition coach and fasting teacher. I am building up my own business which will consist of online webinars and trainings, fasting weeks near my home and herbal walks to train people in getting to know the so called weeds and their health benefits in the local area in Germany where I live.
These days if I eat wrong and I become very acidic, I can instantly feel it and know it's time to adjust the diet again. Too much bread or grain (albeit healthy organic wholemeal, spelt, quinoa, amaranth, millet eg) and too much coffee is enough to put the body back into an acidic state. (I test this with alcaline/acid strips from the pharmacist) I immediately feel more hungry and sluggish and my leaky gut problems flare up again. So I know when to switch back to lots of raw veggies and little protein and no grains and just herbal teas (like Essiac or various herbal/fasting teas).
At the same time I try to stick to intermittent fasting and not eating vom 8pm till 12am the next day. I also then revert back to taking Lugol's iodine solution which calmes the thyroid and stops cravings for sugar. Sugar in all forms is an absolute NO-NO. A little stevia, erythriol and sweet fruits in strict moderation are ok. I still eat occasionally good quality meat or fish, as it has no effect on blood sugar and keeps insulin at bay, but I will more and more fade it out of my diet. The animal suffering is one aspect, that wears heavy on my heart and I had been a vegetarian of 11 years in my youth already (albeit the so called pudding veggie).
I am trying to create a ketogenic, “Veganitarian” lifestyle, which means close to Vegan, but still eating healthy organic milk products occasionally. Gee, Organic Butter, Kefir, Quark, Raw Cheese or similar - all the sour milk products that are healthy for the gut. No milk however!
As far as grains go, NO WHITE FLOUR products! Spelt is an excellent healthy source but it also has to be organic. Millet is also good. The best is buckwheat, not a grain and very tasty.
Lots of organic veggies and herbs are the basis, something raw with each meal. 2-3 meals a day no snacking.
Fresh air every day ( I get it through gardening or walks) and lots of movement as well as sport. I go swimming, do yoga and a little weight training to build up healthy muscle.
Your mental and emotional health is just as important. Get your private life sorted. Chuck out everything (and everyone) that does not serve you any more. Banish people who are energy vampires. Watch less telly, don’t read pulp fiction, educate yourself with books or audio or on youtube. Zillions of speakers, authors, coaches that give information for free are out there on the net.
I wish you all love & light and a healthy life.
