Dear yogis, let me simply share this amazing workshop with you coming up this weekend (still a chance to sign up for a spot)

We are nearing the coveted time of the Summer Solstice, which will take place on June 21st. Solstice periods mark a significant portal on the cyclical wheel of time - A time portal one could say, which our Ancestors, from the Ancient worlds, recognized and integrated into the ceremony of LIFE!

Interestingly, modern day Relationship Psychologist Esther Perrell also highlights the importance of creating ceremonial celebrations, as part of our practice of living in a harmonious symbiotic relationship with life! 😉

"Rituals are routines elevated by creativity, driven by intention, and imbued with meaning. Rituals ease us through transitions"
The field of experience which I love to play in is 'well-being' - holding sacred space, designing alters, creating songs, birthing poetry or painting, foraging, being with nature, gathering in community - all these activities imbue the rocky path of life with some comfy walking shoes! Metaphorically speaking! 😉

So.... to celebrate in ceremonial style the Summer Solstice of 2021, our dear soul sisters Simona Yovcheva & Elaine Colclough are launching a Celtic Mini Fest for the Summer Solstice to support us and connect us to the land, to ancient indigenous practices, to ancestral wisdom, to the herbs of the land, and to each other (wherever we may be)

Our work will be guided and supported by the Wisdom & Medicine of the Sacred Oak Tree, as in the Celtic Calendar this time period is represented by Her.

Attached to this email is our flyer - which holds all upcoming information about the Festive Celebrations ❤
We are really looking forward to gathering together with everyone and doing a mid-year deep cleanse on our bodies, minds & spirits!

My autumn favourite asana 🍂 Eagle (Garudasana)

In this pose we are, in a way, constricting the flow of blood through our bodies. As we cross our legs and arms and squeeze them together to maintain balance, we experience a massage like pressure.

This action is what stimulates and releases an entirely new fresh flow of nourished blood throughout our system giving our immune system a GOOD AND HEALTHY KICK!

Good circulation is a key for good immunity so, whatever the reason, give Eagle a try!

In case you're wondering what we are really doing, sitting with our hand on the belly and breathing so deeply.

It is called; Belly breathing (Diaphragmatic Breathing)

Why I love to start the classes with deep belly breath?
Because its so simple and allows a deep calm to spread in no time.

Just a few amazing benefits of this easy breath technique, and a link to read further about how well this breathing can benefit you

🍄 Increased creativity, super-learning, integrative experiences, and increased memory! - as a result of deep, slow breathing

❤️ Boost your immune system! - by massages your abdominal organs and glands.

🍆 Detoxify the body! - as every maximized exhale expels waste, toxins, and excess carbon dioxide from your system.

So we have a full moon in Aries 🔥 symbolizing nothing less than the beginning of the end of life as we know it...more changes NO THANKS right? ... How I often feel being too comfortable in my cocoon, but eventually I find my sweet surrender.

Fire transforms! And we are called upon to embrace all that may surface from this moon beams, The good, The bad & The ugly!

Full moon shines a light on our shadows to let them be heard, let them be seen. Not to judge or go into drama and self punishing, but because they have a story to tell.

That story, when we listen, shows us the pain of where we are not aligned, and what has maybe caused it. It gives us a chance to rebirth ourselves with healed wounds and switch directions and initiate changes, prepare our ground for new and healthy seeds.

I will share this rather pragmatic full moon read, but it really helps to see the beauty in aligning with our purpose under this Aries full moon.

Find a moment, let the possibilities be endless and ask yourself these.

What do I lose yourself in?
What leaves me energized?
What problems can I deal with?
What do I need to release to make space for my purpose?

Dear yogis, It was amazing to see you follow your favourite teachers online and practice with them from your own home! As of Wednesday, you might find that their online classes are not on a certain fitness app any more.
This is not a strike. They got kicked-out with a 7-day notice. What has always been a great deal on the consumer side, turns out to be a very bitter pill for many independent yoga teachers.

If you are in the financial position of doing so, .

See the map of independent yoga teachers in Berlin and receive updates about the development of the fair alternative for yoga:

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.

It simply means :- 'May all beings be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all. '

Love Eat Yoga Repeat

Tine is half Danish & half German, born in Denmark, yet has spent many years of her life travelling and living on different continents. The fascination of cultures, communications and humans brought her to spirituality. The practice of the yoga philosophies and asanas have been a part of her life for more than 10 years.

She is a RYT trained yoga teacher specializing in vinyasa, flow, yin yoga and meditation.

Her yoga is focusing on connecting and strengthening the outer as well as the inner body. Using yoga as self healing journey to create a sense of contentment within one self. She like her practice to create a space for the inner beauty and strength to surface, allowing it to be felt and remembered and carried with when going off the matt.
